Excellent review! I'm thinking of purchasing a C Line Electric, and this is the best review I've found. You've covered everything I was wondering about, and even a few things I hadn't considered. I particularly liked your observation about how the power assist comes on (abruptly). This will be my first Brompton, and I'd been wondering if I should just go with the standard version. I'm still on the fence, but at the very least feel better informed thanks to your thorough review.

How come you had a 43 hour time limit ? I've done a couple of 600km brevets (in France) and it was 40h each time (even for one that had 8000m D+ ).

This was the best comparison between the normal Brompton and the electric Brompton.

An easy DIY for anyone/everyone is add FlatOut sealant to any Schrader valve bicycle inner tube. Has worked well on two of my bikes. There are solid testimonial videos on UA-cam as well. Happy riding everyone ☮️💜

Hello that looks like a nice bag are you still using it? If so how has it held up? I've been interested in purchasing one of Vincita's products for a while their: Expanding Front Carrier rack but unfortunately it's one of their products which dosen't appear to be available for order within the UK. Meaning I would have to purchase it directly from Vincita's website which would mean the order would be subject to additional import costs. I would really like the product for my bike but without knowing how much extra I would be expected to pay it's hard to commit to making the purchase.

I honestly have no idea what tyres my 2019 SuperlightM6LXBrompton came with? I have never used it enough to have to change any, though I have had my fun making it even lighter than original, at present close to an original T-line, but for much less money and with more gears!

One year late to this but nevertheless congratulations to both of you. Great idea to do the 600plus as a DIY.

I did a 400k last year out of Manningtree, probably also organised by ACME, I found that just riding the whole thing with no sleep worked for me, just regular stops......but that part of the UK is pretty flat so not too challenging in that regard !

@one-less-car, I just got the OLight RN400 light and I love it, but it uses a Garmin mount and I would love to use your Garmin mount on the handlebar like you, but I can't seem to find any. And your links are dead, I'm afraid! Thanks for a great video.

Having lights available without thinking about them on the Brompton is killer ( in a very good way) It is so much hassle having to sort your lights out. I am a big fan of the E Brompton as it suits my commuting needs but I am painfully aware of its limitations which is why I am keen to try companies like ARCC who seem to be innovating. I love the feel of an E bike especially when I don't have the schedule to attain suffering or grovelling in the gutter but I do like to suffer on the bike.

Motorcycle racer ( retired) told me that he used to get better grip when he installed his tyre against the cited rotational direction. That was the 1970s when you raced with experience intuition and instinct. And a healthy dose of placebo.
