2025 Toyota Camry - Taxi!
Toyota Camry is more than just a Taxi Cab. The Camry has been around for a very long time and has made a name for itself and that name is associated purely with reliability. The same can be said for the fully redesigned 2025 Toyota Camry. This year, Toyota is looking to expand their demographic and make a Camry that is for a whole new generation. The 2025 has style, power and now comes standard with a hybrid engine.
Your job this week viewers is to forget everything you know about the Toyota Camry and watch this review with a fresh look. This week, Jared acts very professional while reviewing the 2025 Camry and discuss a bit of history, some great features, and discusses the Camry's future. He even takes the Camry for a Sunday drive. Thanks says middle-aged man like a Sunday drive with in a Camry. How does it compare with it's competitors? Do they need a V6 again? Where did I leave the toenail clippers? All of these questions will be answered.
So, join us this week as we do a full walk around of the redesigned 2025 Toyota Camry. Toyotas Crown.

I just bought one to SEL model..somethings I wished is had is interior les lighting and 3rd lower head rest, but those are not deal breakers I love mines. The sel one I have has light brown contrast. One more thing you have to hook up USB to get Google maps, they should have just automatic connection Bluetooth for that and no USB.
Fantastic review! I bought my 2024 Golf R yesterday during Volkswagen's Black Friday event. I can't wait to pick it up today! 6 spd in Lapiz blue with the Carbon package.
That’s amazing. You must be so pumped. Manual too! Enjoy every drive in your new GolfR. You got an absolute gem of a car. Thanks for the kind words as well. Have a great weekend.
*What's wrong with pineapple on pizza?* Thanks for a great video! By the way I don't like pineapple on my 'za either.
Haha. Thanks for saying hello
The tires and rims look good but I feel it very bad when I drive over any pavement or bump. It can do serious damage to the car because of the small tire and big rims.
Be careful out there. Where we live there are a lot of those pesky potholes
😂😂😂
I never thought I would ever own a Kia and thought for sure I was coming home with a Honda Pilot....but, upon doing much research, we ended up buying a 2024 kia telluride ex. So far we are very happy with it. We shall see....
How tall are you guys? Were you comfortable? I'm 6.1 at 230 lbs...is it roomy for long distance?
Not hard to drive------ different, even easier. No double clutching, no grinding of gears because you didn't get the revs right. Early Cadillacs used the same system. Henry was of course involved in it's design too.
Definitely different. Takes some getting used to. Thanks for watching.
At the end of the video i realized you guys are located near here. i'm in cambridge. My mom just ordered one of these. its the perfect size to be easily drivable. the rav4 was too big for her. she's moving from a 2010 matrix to this. she got the le trim. i think it is a great car. she only drives about 10000kms a year.
Maybe what VW can go is build a better car and that way Consumers Reports can recommend it in the future otherwise it's not as good as you say it is. I test drove a 25 Jetta and the problem is it drove very harsh and you felt very hard over regular street pavement.
We appreciate your insight. We prefer the stuff from drive of the Jetta. Drive can be a very subjective thing. That’s why the test drive is so important. Thanks for watching.
Do you still have your GTI? If so why not an update on how it’s treating you
Great suggestion. Would you have anything specific that you would like us to look at?
@ average fuel economy, any issues and fun?
Love it. You’re on. It’s already in the works
All brand are stealing every thing bmw has done already the whole car industry just following BMW lol😂
Interesting point. What areas in particular are you referring to in the Camrys case? Thanks for watching.
@ u see that line on the side of the car for aerodynamics that on all bmws sin dawn of time back light not to mention dropping v6 to 4 add a turbo a 2014 bmw 328i has every feature this car has plus then look at the hood the line that divides the hood from the grill look familiar ?and sn’t that a 2015 Avalon grill 😂😂😂😂
Interesting observation. Thanks for sharing. BMW is a good brand to pull ideas from. I don’t know if the Camry was designed after any BMW, but either way, the 2025 Camry looks great.
Real BMW secret are their engines and nobody is steeling that. B58 B48 performance and economy is unmatched. Toyota is grandpa car relative to BMW
Love your work - keep it up
Thank you so much.
I saw a big bearded guy and I thought "he'll be able to tell me how comfortable driving the Camry is" but did I miss it?
It was never specifically mentioned, but there were also no complaints about comfort. The tough part with comfort is that it’s so subjective. One person might find the Camry comfortable while others claim to be in discomfort. We always encourage people to test drive themselves. That’s the best way to see if things are comfortable. Thanks for watching. :)
@HoodSlappersOfficial Thanks for responding! With the bigger channels I know they never read my feedback. I get what you're saying about subjectivity, but there are 100+ reviews of the car on UA-cam. Your unique experience could be relatable to another similarly large person like me in a way that makes it more valuable than the others. First time catching your content, I'll be sure to watch more!
Stay tuned for our Kia K4 review. We give you a shout out and then talk about comfort. Thanks for the chat. From one large guy to another, I appreciate the feedback.
I bought a 2023 Camry TRD and had to get rid of it bc of rattling and other issues I had. I was disappointed to see a brand new car with these issues.
Thanks for sharing. We are sorry to hear this. Was there any progress in at least finding the rattle? What did you get instead? Thanks for watching.
damn im about to buy one, you ever figure out what was causing that rattling? what were the other issues u had?
Rattling is caused by rear speakers. The rear dash is just very flimsy. I had same Issue TRD is based on Camry SE but the engine and overall feel of the car is nice. I’m looking at Lexus IS350 now Much better build quality
Perhaps not surprisingly, no mention of VW’s reputation for questionable reliability and total cost of ownership…
VW generally has a low cost of ownership when it comes to maintenance cost, fuel and resale. This doesn’t take into consideration of long term issues. Thanks for watching.
The car is small. The second row surprisingly doesnt have a lot of leg room. If you add the 3rd row there is no room for anyone from the 1st row to the 3rd row. I have test driven this car and it was dissapointing considering the cost is high.
Thanks for watching and commenting. We are shocked to hear this aside from the third row. It’s very small. It’s always good to try these things for yourself. Glad you did. ;)
Visited Japan recently and saw an ocean of Toyota Crowns as taxis and personal vehicles. Not a lot of Camrys as you say, but the Crowns the Japanese get are beautiful compared to what we have in the states, so I can see why the Camry doesn't sell well over there. Toyota has a LOT of choices when it comes to models of cars they sell there and the Camry seems mundane to the rest of the lineup. Also: to add the the Toyota civil war, “Corolla” means “little crown”
You just had to stir the pot. Haha. We had no idea about Corolla. The cars are so different in Japan. So many more options and designs. Did you go to a Toyota dealership and grab a few brochures? Thanks for watching.
The rarest Model T would be a Model T Town Car.
Totally agree. This one is rare because it can be traced right from the beginning of its build. A great bit of history
Toyota's are not that reliable anymore, since they switch to turbo engines, they have problems.
Good news! The 2025 Camry has no turbo. Just a classic Toyota hybrid. Toyota knows them well. :) Thanks for watching.
Camry isn't turbo charged
pineapple is great on pizza - Hawaiian, with sliced almonds and ham. and i would also take the Mazda 3 hatchback over the cx-30. who the heck needs AWD? if you're driving in snow, winter tires are more effective than AWD.
Almonds?!? That’s another level altogether. Ha
It fits in the bin with the other EVs
Are there any EVs that you would consider?
The interior looks really small, your head was hitting the headliner.
It’s definitely small, but workable. We would recommend trying it yourself. Thanks for watching.
I would trim that beard, it seems to hide a bird’s nest.
Tell me about it. We found the missing toenail clippers in there last week. We are still missing the tv remote though.
All wheel drive or 4 wheel drive??
In Canada the Outlander has an available All Wheel Drive system. Thanks for the question and for watching.
I’m buying a 2024 ralliart black edition can’t wait for it to be delivered!
Show off. :). Thanks for watching brother. Enjoy the new ride
Just got tge samecone with orchid interior. Family and kids love it. Definitely a head Turner, luxurious and ton of options inside.
Great choice. Acura really stepped up their game inside and out with this MDX. Luxurious but so practical. Thanks for watching.
My wife’s had her turbo a week, and we love it. It’s like driving an exspensive sports car. The interior blows me away
Isn’t it fantastic? We swear that Mazda is inching into their own style of premium brand. It is actually a fun SUV to drive. We can’t say that about many others. Enjoy it. Make sure you get a turn to drive it every so often. :) Thanks for watching.
Nice video, thanks guys. Touch is fine until you wear gloves? I miss my 1.8T from my 16 Golf :/
Thanks for watching. We miss the Golf too. Any Golf for that matter. Ha. Why VW removed it from North America we will never fully agree with. However the Jetta is pretty sweet.
How do you use the fog lights? I bought this same car and had no idea there was fog lights lol
Depending on the trim, the Jetta offers IQ lights. Similar to the GolfR in the sense that IQ lights replace an actual fog light. As for an official lower fog light on the bumper, there is nothing on any trim. We hope this helps. Thanks for watching. Enjoy your new Jetta. What colour did you get?
@@HoodSlappersOfficial I'm more confused now what's IQ light? and why did you say fog lights? would love to see it in action. I got the 2025 Comfortline Sport. in Monterey Blue Pearl what a nice color for sure.
GLI manual?
Sadly no. We reviewed a Jetta Comfortline with the Sport Package. We might have to do the GLI manual though. As long as you promise to watch.
I have only seen 1 other channel do a review on a GLI autobahn which is the trim I’m most interested in. Like a base model Audi engine but has all the upgrades on the interior.
i didn't wanna talk shit as the 1st one, but u acting like ur doing this for 5-12year old kids. everyelse is fine, thanks for the video.
All good! We appreciate you watching and commenting. We are always looking to learn and grow. The immature humour comes from us being a couple of dads with wee kids. :)
Sad Honda. Honda is coming out with new 120 HP with range of 99 miles for the grand price of $99,000
That doesn’t make sense. Are you sure? That’s a lot of money for a car of that nature. Thanks for watching though. :)
This car isn't really for retirees, it's meant for singles looking for a premium SUV on a budget or for couples who don't have kids yet but want space for their friends & family, & empty nesters. This is meant to a fun too drive spacious SUV so I doubt they'd be driving this SUV with the enthusiasm & pep it's meant to be driven with
Honestly it is for everyone. We really enjoyed it and can see the mass appeal. Thanks for watching.
5:37 That’s a brand new 3.3L turbo inline-6 Mazda made for the CX-90 & CX-80 in other markets
The naming confusion 😂😂
The “CX” line up confuses us. :)
2 clowns......
Mum. We told you to stop commenting.
Be careful with these. Mine has been in the shop for almost a week, hasn't been looked at yet. 1800 miles, only. Brake warning notices and service brakes came on the dash. And I am not the only one.
Thanks for sharing. We appreciate you sharing your experience. Real drivers are the real reviewers because they have the most experience. Have they given you any indication of what the issue might be? Please keep us posted.
I test drove this and it’s a nice car. I’d consider leasing it but I wouldn’t purchase it as I’m not sure Honda will support it well in the long run as I’m not sure how long they’ll make it.
That’s a good point. Plus with battery technology changing so quickly, leasing would be a great option as well. Don’t finance what might be a dinosaur in 5 years. It won’t be as valuable as a trade
going to test drive one this weekend this was helpful it's definitely a nice ride .
That’s fantastic. Let us know what you think of the drive. Hopefully you could take some of our information to help with a decision. All the best!
Why is 2024 going to be the last year? Drove a used 2023 Limited, 20,000 miles, yesterday. Seemed pretty nice, waiting to drive a 2024 coming in two weeks. The dealer wanted us to change a few things on the order and take the one coming in. We had no idea people wait for cars these days, until readying these post. Comparing with the 2024 RAV 4's. Should I be concerned that they're discontinuing them?
Great question. The basic idea is that Toyota is replacing it with the Crown Signia. It’s kind of sad because we really liked the Venza. We are hoping to review the Crown soon and hopefully can give some good insight. As for being worried, I wouldn’t be. A lot of the parts are interchangeable. The Venza is a Toyota/Lexus combo so there should be plenty of available parts. If you can get one sooner than later, it might not be a bad idea. Hopefully this helps.
Just got the 2025 LX and this is one of the most accurate reviews on youtube!
Thank you so much. It turns out your comment is pretty accurate too. :) Thanks for watching and for leaving a comment. Have a great day
I drive a lot of Mitsubishis not a days that’s why I own the 2023 and 2024 suv Mitsubishi outlander exceed tourer and the normal tourer
Interesting. We are curious what do you do that allows you to drive so many Mitsubishis? Thanks for watching and commenting.
Not a Wagoneer.
But it said Wagoneer on it.
i got it for 44k the AWD Touring with all the discounts. So far so good. The panoramic sunroof, the drive, and more. The negative people on the comment section have not even drove this car or got to see it inside out. They are ridiculous if you ask me.
Thanks for your comment. Much appreciated. The vehicle is so new that’s it’s difficult to take someone’s opinion of it over someone like yourself who actually drives one. So thanks for sharing. Congratulations on the new ride. Enjoy it. What colour did you get?
@@HoodSlappersOfficial Red with Gray Interior. I got the Dual Motor AWD Touring
Very nice
