No kidding.....that is too cool. My first new one I finally got at 37 years old, a 2017 Camaro SS.

Did a Renegade manifold on my 84, exhaust, bumped base timing up 2 degrees and took off a bit of weight, they can definitely run strong. I love the crossfire personally, they sound good too.

@@Feral80sKid 99 Celica GT is like a baby Supra, this Celica is weird looking but cool in a way, and the curb weight of 2580lbs is incredible!!!

@@Feral80sKid my dads had his 84 c4 since I graduated high school and went into the military back in 2000. Early this spring the 700r4 decided it'd had quite enough and went kablooey. Unfortunately the engine was damaged in the process but i sent up the bat signal and got ahold of an ls1 rotating assembly and an iron 4.8 5.3 block that's been machined to acce6the bigger pistons and im about finished with his iron ls1. He hasn't decided yet what transmission he wants so when he does thatll be this winters project. I'd like to do a Muncie 4 speed with a gear vendors under overdrive that way it'd be like the doug nash 4+3 only you know... functional lol

I know that yellow on the 99, l Iove it, and certainly love the S550. I like the new one but not as much as your 2015 style, especially not the big screens inside :/ My first Mustang was a 95 GT, teal with a 5 speed, really liked that car lol.

I just sold it last week :/ Really sorry, damn. Would've loved to have sold it to a UA-cam viewer instead.

It's all good, we all start somewhere bud. Lots of options for it as far as looks, ground effects, GT hood scoop, spoiler etc.. The Flowmaster dual exhaust sounds pretty good too on the V6, they used to make a Supercharger kit for these as well, wouldn't do that though if your 04 has high miles. Hope that helps

Nice. That was the same as my first V6 Mustang:) Fantastic car for me too, just had to replace a power steering line, put it on to where it didn't rub from the factory, no other problems whatsoever.

2000 V6 auto convertible here. Slight rattle when accelerating that no one can seem to figure out, but other than that she's a great machine.

Had to sell this one unfortunately, but have a red on red 91 with 55k miles now

@@racingdreamz8021 Lol, driven a lot of different cars, the C4 has it's faults but it beat Porsche in it's class for so many years it got banned from SCCA, wouldn't say it sucks, sucks to get in and out of maybe.

@@racingdreamz8021 I have had two C4s, one C5, and I have a C6Z right now. I still miss my C4s. Call it nostalgia, call it whatever you will, but I love those cars. What it lacked in the power department it made up for in other ways, at least for me.

That's as cool a memory as it gets my friend, truly awesome. The way you described it was exactly what I said, an electric blue I said to dad when we went to test drive the 78 Formula I bought 26 years ago, almost to this day actually, what a coincidence we're talking about this now LOL. I fell in love with the color instantly, found that car in the old Auto Trader books we used to get, it had 42k miles, black interior, 350 4 speed, with Cragar SST wheels. ($4,100 I paid then) Sure wish we could get one now for that haha. Great comment, really made me smile🤝

@@Feral80sKid It's interesting, your video triggered a little bit more of the memory for me. I said that 1/18 model is the same, but it's not, the model has a black interior. That didn't mean much to me till I saw the blue interior in your car and I realized the one I saw that day had the blue interior, I'm sure of it. I hadn't occurred to me until I saw yours and it was like a little missing piece to the memory regained. It was all blue, the blueyist blue car I done ever seen. In the end I can't complain, that 71 Grand Prix was a very nice "personal luxury" car, small block 400. Interestingly that GPrix had a feature I've never seen in another GPrix ever, and that is your steering wheel. It had the Leather tilt Rally Steering wheel same as the Trans Am. That steering wheel made that Grand Prix I'm telling you. It couldn't have been an option or you'd see them, but I've never seen another. My theory is thus; the guy that owned the Pontiac dealership (where I saw your car) was a friend of my dads and my dad bought the car from him. I have to assume as the owner of a dealership he got a new car every year and customized it any way he wanted. An owner would be just the person that could have them install that steering wheel into his car, cause my dad bought it as is. That Trans Am steering wheel is still completely bad ass, they need to bring them back, F a bunch of air bags, screw safety. Wait what, no not that. lol. Damn sorry for the run on trip down memory lane. Cars, I love those damn things. Cheers.

I drive a 91 Camaro RS daily and I put on a wheel similar to a TA wheel, dumb first gen airbag was so warped the horn wouldn't work, ugly too, and first gen airbags can be dangerous. Sounds like one bad @$$ Grand Prix, the 71 looks sweet, nice body style, back when you could actually tell cars apart lol🤙

😎 Hell yeah, friends don't let friends drive SUV's and mini vans, it's been driven every day for 2 months now:) Won't drive it in snow/salt though. Have a newer Camaro coming soon too, will be my last build, pouring all I've learned the last 20 years into it, revealing on channel soon🤙

They're definitely high on the cool and fun factor:) In my own experience I've never had a problem with either the 700R4 like in my 90 or the 4L60E say in a 95, have heard people say the same though. Actually selling this because I found a good deal on a 2024 Camaro, last year for those, bummer :/ Typically the 700R4 seems to last a lot longer before needing a rebuild though. Whichever you choose, find a good transmission shop and have them install you a TransGo shift kit, it'll last a long time, shouldn't be more than $300 for parts/labor, shifts quick but ultra smooth under normal driving, hard and quick under full throttle, you'll love it, a bit more hp to the wheels as well👌

Get one with a 6 speed

My daughter says to me she likes the car but the interior looks like an old man car .so 2018 buckets going in with 2018 steering wheel and center console.put in an electric instrument cluster from intertronix.beautiful! These new car prices are outrageous.you have to take out a second mortgage.i drop a turbo and get 400 HP if I could but she is reliable for now.

I think it was 85 or 86 and up C4's had the 3rd brake light from the factory? So you had the W72 Trans Am then! Awesome, had a 78 Formula in high school, 350 4 speed, and recently a blue 78 TA W72, great minds think alike:) Actually have this car for sale atm, really thinking about a 96 LT4 car, or maybe a 6th gen Camaro LT1. Love the C4 LT1 btw, had a 94 Z28 6 speed. The 78 is on the channel here if you wanna see it, was a pretty Martinique Blue. Good stuff, you have great taste in cars🤙🇺🇲

You're a good man for trying to make her happy though, regardless of whether it lasted or not, been there myself:) The 91 and 92 Z28 is one good looking car, I did have a blue 91 Z28 once but it had 230k miles.
