For your first issue, check on the website that you are running the required version to operate this sim. As I understand the latest version of OpenBVE may throw up errors when trying to run the sim. This is because of the port to 64-bit whereas the jubilee line sim was built in 32-bit. To answer your second question those errors and files not found are a normal thing, it shouldn't affect gameplay. It's more for the developer incase such pathing for files that are called in the route file are not there maybe because it was taken out but not removed. Hi @B3G8, this was merely a tester for a project that no longer exists. I can recommend the Jubilee Line V3 by BVE Western Region which has these implemented in their route. It runs from Stratford to West Hampstead and also includes the closed branch between Charing Cross and Green Park Hope this helps

Hi certi, press CTRL and V on the keyboard will show the speed. First press will show speed in KPH, second press will show speed in MPH and third press will clear the speed display back to original Hope this will help!

Yes you can do this in the main OpenBVE program, if you click on "Customise Controls" the in the assignments list look for "SECURITY_A1" (Insert). Highlight this, then in the drop down box below you can change it to any key you desire. You can also click on the box on the right so it highlights magenta and press the key you want to assign and it will do it for you. Hope the above helps! :)

Ah I believe you might be in Restricted Manual mode (RM). And you can tell this by looking at the mode selector position and also the flashing call on light. In RM mode the train is restricted to 14kph, after which if the train exceeds this speed then the traction motors will cut out and you will hear that audible alarm. So before starting your journey, double check that you have selected Full Speed Manual/Protected Manual (FSM/PM) using the page Up and Page Down keys on the keyboard, which will hopefully fix your issue.

Hey for troubleshooting first check the key assignments in the openbve options in the home menu are set as default. Also make sure that the DOOR_CLOSE left (F5) is not multi set than more that one key. Next check when you start the route that the plugin has correctly loaded using the version of openbve that is recommended by Bve Western region. Let me know if this has worked for you. Cheers 👍🏻

Press the Page Down or Page Up key to move the mode control switch (MCS) between the different train modes I think is what I was meant to have said there. Let me know if it helps

@@Bvetube101 Thanks for replying quickly! Pressing page up and page down just moves the camera, and the same thing goes for using the numpad, whether that be numlock on or off.

@@TheBromleyBusGuy Maybe check your key assignments in the options in the main OpenBVE menu. I'm using the default keys. I think I explained it somewhere before to someone here that had a different keyboard layout on how to custom assign keys

@@Bvetube101 I managed to work it out. You have to hold down "fn" on the keyboard and then press page up or down, like with f keys. The only trouble I now have is stopping at the correct point now. It's hard to get it spot on

Hey @Elite_Ehsan As far as I know there isn't currently any Jubilee Line routes that feature ATO. This route here is pre 2000s era where you had conventional signalling as you can see here, so before the present day where there is ATO on the Jubilee Line

What are your current PC Specs? The computer I used when recording this was: AMD Athlon Phenom II at 3.00GHZ Nvidia Geforce GTX 750Ti 8GB RAM If running this in windowed mode sometimes resizing the window smaller can allow for the game to run smoother than in full screen where it begins to stutter

That alarm would be the vigilance alarm. When no input is made after 60 seconds, this alarm will sound. When this happens, cancel the alarm by pressing space or move the TBC using keys Q, A or Z on your keyboard. Then press 0 to clear the Deadmans alarm message on the TMS. My other video covers this

Hiya, see if you can look for and run version 1.7.0.3. See here vps.bvecornwall.co.uk/OpenBVE/Stable/. Ensure you have placed the folders in the correct location. Let's use the Jubilee Line for example, make sure that your Jubilee Objects folder is in [Openbve/Railway /Objects/Jubilee Line] and not [Openbve/Railway/Objects/Objects/Jubilee line]. This results in the sim returning a blank when it's running as it cannot locate the path of the objects in the route file when called.

Bvetube101 basically I don't think the map loaded but the train did so the map is like white and also I can drive the central line

The default keys is usually F5 and F6 (very top of the keyboard)

Openbve is customizable with setting the keys to your preference if you don't have the preset for your keyboard. So if you open OpenBVE so that the main menu pops up -> Click on Pers. Des commandes -> in the list look for "SECURITY_C1 & C2" -> select C1 first, this is defaulted to keybind "Page précédente" key (or Page Up) on the keyboard next to Début and "Fin". To change this to another key of your choice in the "Commande actuellement sélectionnée, Confirm the Commande you wish to change and ensure its selected. In this case its" SECURITY_C1". Ensure Clavier is selected unless you have a joystick as well. Then from this point you can either click on the box to the right which say "Click here to enable Keyboard..." so that it lights up in pink. This activates edit mode. -> Press your desired key on the keyboard you wish to use. (It must be a key that is not already used). Once selected to the left in the Touche box you will see the key you have selected. Press on the drop down box or any box (without selecting anything that is already set in there) to come out of edit mode and et voilá. Repeat the same as above for SECURITY_C2. On the keyboard with default arrow keys moves the viewpoint on spot. The NUM pad key arrows respectively move the camera left and right on X axis and up and down on Y axis. And NUM keys 7 and 9 moves the camera forward and back on the Z axis. You can change views using the first 4 F keys at the top. F1 - Driver view, F2 - follow train, F3 view from fixed point and F4 is spectator view (or enthusiast view when it is on a fixed point but locked to a certain car of the train as it goes past) Hope the above helps

Hello there, I'll add it to my list of things to get to. With the central line although a 4th brake has been added, only the ATO can use this brake and will have no effect if being used when driving in coded manual (CM) I'd recommend maybe 55kph but use correct judgement, if you feel its too quick approach the platform slower and feather the brakes to suit so you have enough room to stop at the stop point. I will do a driving guide video for you soon

Glad you're enjoying it, in the video I think second section in, I demonstrate coming into the station at no more than 30 and begin braking, feathering the brakes to vary the speed which has me slow enough so that if needed I can apply more brake to stop correctly at the stop point. The margin of the stop area is quite tight so ensure you maintain brake to crawl speed. There is a slight delay for the brakes to kick in however when you apply it so judge the correct timing in which to do so. Also if you stop short, apply one notch of power but almost immediately apply brake to move a few inches as I found if you watch my phase 1 video, Stratford to North Greenwich, at North Greenwich I stopped almost correctly but didn't want to overshoot so I did what I described above.

Check the instruction at the top. Ensure TBC is in B3 position the press spacebar to twist handle in order take it out of the "Stow" position then press till it indicates P1 or more as desired (bottom left of the screen in game) Whenever the TBC handle is stowed such as when stopped at a station and you move the handle with Q and Z, the message just displays as a reminder to you. Hope that helps!

@@hartstukken BAKEMONO ensure brakes are in B3 then press Spacebar to twist handle (Ensuring the doors are closed) The reverser F and V keys do not work since the plugin on this works differently by Mode Selection. So press Pg Dn and ensure the mode control selector is at FSM (Full Speed Manual) and the steps above should have it working for you

I can... Should be after this next video on the Jubilee line phase 3 I have upcoming. The alarm that reappears, can only be one of two things I'm thinking of. One is the deadman's alarm that only goes off if stationary and no input to the traction brake controller was made within 60 seconds, or if you've either passed a signal at red. Last I can think about is you may be driving in RM mode which restricts your speed to 13kph and greater than 16kph an alarm would sound. Generally if starting from the siding road into Waterloo you start the move in RM then when berthed at the platform, press PG Dn to put the mode into CM/FSM (Coded Manual/Full Speed Manual)

farhana rahman you need to wait for both signals to turn white in the depot. Use CM (Coded Manual) for the departure from everywhere EXCEPT Waterloo ARRIVAL platform. You will need to use restricted manual for that. Be alert and pay attention to the speed in the tunnel as they change quite often. Also, don’t forget to press the spacebar to twist the TBC and then go to the P3 detent to get the train moving

Speedbar turns on with the train. Does it not light up when you turn the mode selector? (Pg Dn?)

Hello there! At the present moment there is no Southbound (Eastbound from Westminster) route created at the moment. My guess is the developer is intending to continue Northbound up to Stanmore in stages, then will eventually start on the return. How long? It may likely be some years till we see this. Depending on the team and their direction of things. Hope this answers your question :)

@@user-ns4gc6gm1z On the central line you are under ATP control, if you try overspeeding by at least 5kph over the ATP will slow the train back down to the permitted speed. Only way you can really drive without being restricted is to remove the plugin from the train however this is unrealistic and the train may not function as its intended to

I believe according to the manual Home and End keys on keyboard Close/open the Near and offside driver doors. Which Alarm can't you silence? I would gather two guesses, one the Dead man's Alarm CAT A if no input was made to the combined Driving handle for a while. (I explain at the end of this video on how to cancel that alarm). OR the Mode Control Selector switch is set to ATO, which you'd get both CAT A and B alarms and a TMS message (No Code) because there is no systems installed that use this mode. If this is the case then press the Pg Up button to take you back one Mode to FSM and clear the message by pressing 0

@@farhanarahman2634 From what I know and in real life too, drivers can have the doors open while the train is in motion so long as they are in FSM/PM. No alarm should sound, just check it may likely be the mode selector or the dead man's alarm. The TMS will indicate each. If its the dead man's alarm either pressing Q, A, Z or spacebar if the notch is set in B3 should cancel the alarm then press 0 to clear the TMS message

Now it just says clear on light how to I get rid of that and like go down on the panel

Nope, it's probably based on percentage of power applied by use of arcs such as brake arc and power arc. You'd know if you were in the coasting (Neutral) Notch as you would "feel it" when you say for example bring the power back from full to neutral

Hi there, since this video the route has updated and I hope to put out another video soon Did you follow everything properly, so on closing the doors, the Reverser key doesn't work since the train movement through setting the Mode on the Mode Control Selector. Ensure it's set to FSM/PM (5 ish o'clock position), secondly make sure the combined power/brake handle is in "B3" then press SPACEBAR, you'll hear the combined handle twist and finally press Z until its at P3 or whatever power notch is desired. I hope this will help :)

Press F10 twice, should do the trick! F2 follow the train in exterior mode then press the Numpad keys to move about

Check the mode selector is set to FSM/PM, I did not point out that the mode selector overrides the Reverser in openbve. Coming soon if I get time

Target Speed Chime up sound that was taken from the 2009 stock training simulator and loaded into the route (Not by me)

I don't hear it when I play the stratford to waterloo route, is it to do with ATO? I thought it sounded like the central line chimes but different sound.

@@milkandduckrailway323 This isn't the same train, bear in mind this video was uploaded in 2010 during college, so what you hear here is the old version of the 96TS. The route is called Stanmore to Kingsbury

I was driving in full speed manual with no chimes at all on the stratford route, so is this route coded manual since there are chimes? How do you know the speed limit since the target speed doesn't seem to work in this video or other videos of this route? Sorry for all the questions.

@@milkandduckrailway323 This route has the sounds in but no, there are no codes as it's a very old route. It's just sound files played of the chimes. Anyway to be clear on some things here Coded Manual is a term mainly used on the central/Victora line system because of the type used. On the Northern, jubilee and soon to be fully rolled out onto the Sub surface lines (CBTC) you have Protected Manual. The difference between coded manual is if you were to overspeed by 2-3kph, the brakes will come on slowing the train down back to speed whereas Protected Manual if you overspeed you must slow down below Target speed within a given amount of time (5 seconds). Failing this the emergency brakes come on slowing the train to a stop. Again this route is Stanmore to Kingsbury, made in 2010 so its far apart from the newly released jubilee line (which has no codes) and makes it unrealistic because those chimes like I said before were taken from the Victora line 2009 stock training simulator (real life)

Which side are your keys assigned to? Ensure if using a main keyboard the numbers are the ones at the top below the F keys, not the Num pad to the right. Also check openbve key assignments to ensure they're correct

Hi if your call on light is flashing check the train mode is set in full speed Manual mode. Call on light flashes when the mode is set to Reverse, Inter or Forward/Restricted Manual

Hello there, this video is quite an old one, there were some changes made to the configuration of the train in the latest release. By the way did you mean the deadman's CAT A alarm? A brief explanation here for you: When the alarm sounds, (visual cues being the Alarm Acknowledge button on the radio panel to the left is flashing and the TMS screen should display a message reading "CAT A Deadman's Alarm Imminent... Acknowledge!") given the train is correctly set into Full Speed Manual mode, press Space on your keyboard twice or press Q, A or Z to cancel the aural alarm then press 0 to clear the TMS message on the screen. Let me know if this works for you :)

Hi there, let me guess... You wanted to let the train run in ATO. As explain in my video this is all pre TBTC era when driving by sight of conventional signalling was a thing. So given the above the train does not have any ATO implemented hence it won't work

Hi there, firstly are you running the latest version of OpenBVE, The sim requires v1.5 or later. Secondly have you correctly set up the train? If not do take a look at my other video in the description, I go into more detail in how to set up the train to get it moving. This video does not include the full setup procedure. Rather when the train is set up ready to depart which is the first scenario demonstrated at the beginning. Let me know if you are still struggling with that and I'll do my best to help!
