I got to see Roy Buchanan live at the Auckland Town Hall in New Zealand. I think was in the mid 1980s. What a fantastic show. Someone let off the fire alarm. Could not here it till he stopped playing. Then Roy said. Any body smell any smoke. No. Then carried on playing.

i bought their live 2 lp set soon after they release it back in '75, i subsequently bought the 2 cd set.i'm now 66yrs and due to retire in aug '24.

the first i heaqrd of status quo i think the a couple of there hits such as down down from on the level and caroline and their subsequant albums blue for you which was a complete change in their style of beat.

What a marvelous performance! Nobody could play like Quo. Full tilt from the first second to the last, the entire gig. This great clip brought back good memories. Thank you 🙏

Rory enjoys every place where he plays but in Montreux this is still something else !!!!!!! Unfortunately this is a place dedicated to Jazz and when you look at books about this festival you find few about Rory and just a small picture it's really unfair considering the audience at each show!

Great underrated musician I can't believe how many people aren't familiar with Rory Gallagher and I don't understand why he wasn't on the rock radio stations in Chicago back in the day. If you're not familiar with his band do your ears a faver and check these guys out.
