We can see why you keep returning to The Imperial. The view and sunsets are incredible. We never get bored of the views across the bay.

I believe that there is an element (albeit small), of how good in certain respects, but yes, mainly based on facilities. A 5-star hotel for example, the AA are looking for how immaculately turned out the staff are, according to their website. Also how well things are maintained. There are some really good 4-star hotels, some that are questionable, then some that were 4-star but haven't paid to be reassessed for a while, yet still advertise their old rating (not this hotel I must point out!). The Carlyon Bay Hotel was excellent in every respect. They even have staff greeting you at the main entrance, which is rare for a 4-star hotel.

We loved our holiday at Devon Cliffs Haven. We hadn’t been for over 10 years, and it’s still great. Yes the Lego was a hit with the nephew. I ended up ordering some for him ❤️ Thanks so much for watching. I need to catch up on watching some videos 👍 Have a lovely week 😃

Yes, we loved it. So nice to be able to stay right by the harbour. We’ve always wanted to stay there after visiting for a day previously.

We didn’t pick up on that. Loved the rooms though 😀

It is probably different now that was awhile back.we have been back on several occasions and also to the cottages.I just hope it doesn’t become too upper class the only people can that can afford it 😊

The fridge is locked the times we’ve been there, with a sign to buy from reception which is down one flight of stairs. The coffee from the machine is free though.
