This game has the most unskilled gamers of any PvP game I’ve ever played had a dude stare at the cash while I was stealing in ranked and was like dude wtf are you doing staring at the cash watch my damn back I find players like this so much and this was in ranked I was like omg the amount of brainless players absolutely blows my mind I’ve never seen stuff like this in any other game

Game is great. Trying to get a full squad of friends to play but we just keep getting stomped by lvl 70s everytime. We’ve been playing for weeks have yet to see anyone under lvl 30 like us

I like how they keep nerfing medium and heavy while light runs rampant and can 1 shot a whole team with sword no problem if they line them up. Not to mention the Dash bug where if you press and emote you dash like 4x as far and they still didn't fix it. Light is small AF and fast AF they don't need insane amounts of damage they should have good enough damage but not enough that they can run off without sticking to the team. They are the most annoying class to play with and against and they are probably one of the main reason so many people quit this game.

I've been playing the finals since the pre-release. guns I fell in love with and have thousands of kills with don't feel usable anymore it's so sad they keep re-balancing everything it doesn't feel fun anymore it's turned into a meta sweat fest in and outside ranked I'll drop 28 kills match and all of a sudden I'm stuck playing with emeralds and ruby for the next 20 matches I have so much love for this game but the state of the game is driving me away.

Games these days are long term projects. The finals will find its placing eventually. Also we excpect all games to be massive/or dead whilst the fact is most of the games are somewhere in between

I see a lot of comments saying other weapons should get buffed but I think that just causes bigger problems. What the devs really need to do is not just focus on reducing or adding more damage. They need to focus more on the technacalties of the weapon as well. Fire rate, handling, recoil etc. Make the gun harder to use. A baby could have used the pike.

The pike needed a nerf, but nerfing the damage to the extent they did wasn't the option. The biggest complaint was killing lights in 3 shots but the famas still kills lights in 3 bursts??? Now it takes 4 shots to kill lights which is a hell of a lot of work since they are so fast. By the time Im ready to land the 4th shot I am dead which leaves me feeling oppressed because I didn't die because of a skill issue. I had the aim and ability to track but I don't get get the kill reward because I have to put in more work than needed for someone else to kill me. They should have nerfed the fire rate, gave the gun some recoil and limited it's effectiveness at close ranges but not making it utterly useless. The damage nerf is fine but they should still have it where it kills lights in 3 shots and not four. Two shots from a pike basically left lights 1 tap from any weapon which was the real problem in what made the pike feel so oppressive. Maybe the ttk as well but I can't tell you how many lights I killed retreating from a fight weakned in 1 tap range that I just cleaned up on. Right now there really is no reason to use the pike over the famas. At really long ranges the pike is still the better option but the famas can still keep up so why even pick the pike at all now unless you just like the gun. Side note...I know I only mention lights but Im aware the pike was oppressive to all classes. It was far more manageable though for meduims and heavys. Heavy had double desert eagles which honestly need to get nerfed and meduims had the option to use pike as well. More health made it more manageable as well.

I dont want The Finals to try to compete with the top games since many other games had tried and most of them had failed. I am comfortable if it focuses on its playerbase while opening up to new players

I agree with everything you said. The finals is a very hard game to master because every match is different to the other. There is not a single way to play it: it requires you to know movement, positioning, have a good tracking aim due to very high ttk, good team cordination... I had to invest 200 hours to start enjoying the game. But now it is the best fps on the market

I've almost entirely dropped overwatch (I'm a near day one player) for The Finals. the Finals is SO FUN. I used to be a dva main but now I'm the a DPS healer like I was always meant to be. (Medium with revolver, beam, and defib)

The Finals only needs that one viral moment. That either comes by accident or they try their best to manifest it. Yes sure the balancing could be better, the cheaters are almost non-existant for me and the monetization is much more fair than in other games.

It really feels like it. People will cuss you out and rage quit for not having meta loadouts and top fragging with 25 kills while sticking a heal beam up their butt and defending point simultaneously. Basically every match I feel like people are playing for tournament money. Nothing interesting, nothing new. The same shotgun demat, ak heal beam, lewis gun shields, invis xp. I have to keep these meta loadouts basically on tap at all times because running anything that isn't meta loses me teammates or harassed. Granted it's not EVERY match. But I think the biggest issue is: We just need more people. Like 80% of the playerbase are coming from other shooters and just playing CoD and beaming everyone. No point capture, just focused on kills. Which means the skill floor is pretty high to enjoy the game because fun and interesting builds usually end up just getting you killed or bagged by every other opponent.

What sens to use

The problem with bans is it's not permanent. It's not just the finals, but the finals being free really screws it. Takes no time to make another steam account. I much rather buy the game for 60.00 and have a few less cheaters. You'll never get rid of them, but putting a financial barrier helps. I know I'm of the minority...

No brother, I'm sorry to say this but there are too many issues for someone's experience in The Finals. Solo experience, unlimited nerfs and barely any buffs, performance issues, server side issues, low skill ceiling for most weapons, crutches and more are to be listed. I used to be a die hard fun of The Finals (S1 Diamond, S2 Diamond, S3 Emerald, S4 Plat 1 cuz i quit) but there are just too many bad/frustrating things in the game. It's extremely hard to see these bad aspects when you love The Finals, it took me 4 seasons to see it. I'm sure the next game from Embark will be much better and successful

Fore this game isn't fun anymore. For a few matches after a long break it's alot of fun, getting back into the flow of things, perhaps trying a new load out, etc. But heaven forbid I have too much fun or perhaps even DO SLIGHTLY WELL with some of the fun off meta items because then I'm thrown into the most rubbish matches against the biggest cringecase comps with quite possibly the worst players in all of gaming history as team mambers. What's worse is I'm just talking about casual matches here. Quite why I, as a solo queue quick cash player am constantly up against 3 stack hard meta rats after perhaps 3-5 decent matches (remember aatch doesn't have to be a win to be a good match so I'm not talking about 3-5 wins or big pop off games, just fun and engaging matches) I'm thrown into these horribly unbalanced lobbies, I simply don't understand. With what I'm about to say, take it with a grain of salt because it's only from what I have seen and as with everyone else here I do not know embarks private engagement numbers: myself and plenty of other people I know who used to play and truly saw this as a potentially long term fun game have moved away because of the reason above.

So we're not gonna talk about how of a machine turbogranny is. So fun to watch.

I can’t tell you the amount of times I’ve seen a medium using light abilities and I wouldn’t consider an esports player an athlete based on the definition of athlete and personally I just don’t think the developers know wtf they’re doing they need to play the game and find out for themselves but they won’t

I recommend the finals to everyone, it’s ridiculous bc everyone agrees that it looks cool but won’t download it bc they don’t have the time to play it along side the big games like cod, battlefield and destiny

I have a level 8 revolver, and seeing someone talk and teach about the same things that trouble me today while playing is a refreshing feeling. Great video covering its weaknesses and strengths, really great editing!

To me the nefts are fine like the guns still feel good to use like the pike change was ok to me im still gonna continue useing it because it works as a decent fight starter like i love the revolver because as long as i land 2 shots on a target my teammates can finish them off if i don't

I swear to god some the finals players don’t realize how good they have it with these devs and the studio, coming from games like titanfall 2 and destiny 2, this game was a godsend and I’m not gonna let some bitch ass crybabies who think their own interpretations of balance and game development are law and fact; ruin one of the few pieces of entertainment and fun I can actually have.

Great exercises! I'm taking it an exercise at a time to try and get used to training my aim. I've never done it before.

It gets less fun and not as fast paced as it was in S1, but hey at least the Model got nerfed
