I personally don’t agree with the dome shield nerf. I think it coulda been a little nerfed, cause 3 heavy’s running dome is painful for lower tier players but cutting it by more than half seems harsh. And in a way indirectly nerfs lights, making the glitch tech less valuable. Rest of the changes are good IMO
I’m on the same page here, I totally get why they did it. However in the upper ranks, team coordination and communication is a lot better resulting in most dome shields getting burned or glitched really fast. Only time will tell though, hopefully they meet us in the middle just like they did with the stun gun.
@StinkyMick99 It's honestly baffling their decision-making. I take it the devs are trying to get us to play their other shitty game modes rather than enjoy power shift. It's already hard enough to get a heavy teammate, now this stupid ass shit.
I honestly think that the 15 second coin respawn time is a great change, as it allows coins to actually be more useful. My only concern is if the spawn placement logic has changed at all for respawn coins, because there's no point in coining in if it places you really far away from the cashout. Or if it places you too close to it, it's too easy for the defenders to gain an advantage over an attacking team (assuming no third parties).
Great coverage and to the point, love it! I think the nerf to heavy is brutal. It came out of left field. I understand the dev notes, but I’m struggling to find where there were complaints about this? There needs to be a tiered system where gadgets and specializations don’t work as efficiently when stacked. For example, double/triple heal beam, triple mines 😵💫 dome shield, barricade, etc. this would be more fair than an outright nerf, if this is where the complaints are stemming from. I like the changes to the throwing knives, glad you didn’t spend time on a master class just yet! They take 1 step forward and 2 steps back. Maybe I’m a complainer, but I like to call a spade a spade. Thanks for the video!
Well said after playing for a bit now, I’m very indifferent towards the changes. To be honest, I’m leaning more towards the nerf being overkill on heavy.
What the actual fuck were the devs thinking! I'm a medium main so this dome shield nerf makes sitting on objective even more suicidal and lights even more toxic.
Not happy about the TK nerf - light is already weakest class in game. Why. Do we. Keep nerfing. The weakest class... TK isn't even the best/ most used light weapon - why nerf it? - and if the RoF was nerfed, why not raise damage a bit to compensate? It's literally proven best team comps are HHM / HMM... lights need ask the help they can get, NOT now nerfs, considering a patch or so ago the dash was also nerfed..
Yea after playing around 6 hours in this patch. I agree the nerfs for both light and heavy (besides winch claw) went overboard. I hope they walk back some of these changes slightly.

Yeah, when making masterclass videos, try to predict which weapon isn't going to change for a while, such as the KS-23 I believe
