Another timely video. Always enjoy the perspective and your choice of gear. Thanks!! Always a toss-up, if 2-3 day assignment will turn into longer...

CRINGE
Great video Mike! I have never tried that. I think I actually have that tool but I've never used it. I'll have to give it a try. I wonder if using a log that is shorter but fatter would be less cumbersome, of course that probably wouldn't burn as long either though. I'm gonna try to do that when I get a chance. Also I see you have a cot tent behind you! Very cool! I've seen them in videos before. I would like to get one someday. Anywho, super video and keep them coming. Take care and God bless.
Thank you marty God bless safe travels my friend
Pack it in,and pack it out!! Leave on trace!! Old sage advice! Thanks for sharing this with us! ❤✌️👍🤝🤡🫡🇺🇸🥾

Just reporting in. Doing OK Top! I've got my old battle belt still set up though I've moved over to a FLC. That's a good idea keeping it for vehicle use, I'm going to have to take a look at mine and see if I can add it to my vehicle preps.
@@scherry9198 awesome good morning an thanks for watching
You re so right my friend. America is so, so Screwed beyond belief!!
Nice video Mike! And thanks for the shoutout. I didn't expect that but it's much appreciated. I like your belt survival kit. I have put one together also and been tweeking it, trying to have more on the front amd sides where I can reach stuff eaier. I have seen those larger heavy shovel/trowels at the military surplus stores, and may pick up a couple next time for our vehicle survival bags. Again great video and nice gear. Take care and stay safe.
@MartysRamblings2024 thank yiu brother look at lows or menards in the garden area for a short wood handle shovel an cut the plastic handle off I'll do a video on it thank you brother God bless
Nice!
RFK Jr. is a constitutionalist, running independent.

@user-gn7zy5rc4l thank you for watching and yes cold steel are great
Interesting!! I've had the non-folder for years. I have a "thing" about folding joints. To me, joints present potential weak spots in the structural integrity of any tool: knives, e-tools etc., but they do save space, as you mentioned.
@pop401k yes an like I said I have used this lil tool for about 8 years now an you see an hear how strong it is there is a couple on amazon I been looking at as well thank you so much for watching
The FLC is better than the TAPS hands down, wore the FLC for LITERALLY for two months straight in Ranger school, living in the thing 24/7, wearing the TAPS would have absolutely sucked. The people that seem to thing you cannot reach a mag on the front of your kit is absurd, lol, I’m curious to know who said that.
Thank you the idiot that made that comment not important but just shows an yes my son liked the flc better I was originally issue the alice in 1981 when I went In then I got out an in 2001 I joined the guard reserve and got the flc love it I was ranger tabbed brother thank you for watching and your support and well as your dedication and service
@@observationpostcharlie1365 when you go to Ranger school?
@ViktoriousDead 1983
@ViktoriousDead whe did you go
@ViktoriousDead my son is supposed to be going to sapper school soon he is a combat engineer
About the only people that are well versed on the constitution, are MIGRANTS who came to America the legal way. They followed the process ,legally, ,entered our country, swore an oath to uphold our laws, and love our nation. Sadly natural born citizens have never been taught or bothered to read the constitution. Everything is taken for granted by natural born Americans , we don't understand that we can loose our nation in an instant, if we don't stay vigil. Learn the American Constitution and Bill of Rights people.
Stop the illegal invasion
Unfortunately we are closer to WW3 right now than we have been since the Cuban Missile Crisis or maybe even closer than that. Certainly a nuclear exchange with Russia or China today would be FAR worse than in 1962 since there are FAR more weapons now than then. If a launch is detected, the President will literally have at best a few minutes to decide what to do. Can we afford to have a cognitively impared person with the finger on the button given this? There are a million other things to consider perhaps, but that one is pretty important, IMHO...
I'm in the same mindset as you regarding mission. I think your set up and rifle choice is fine for that. I'm not "assaulting" anything either brother.
Thank you and thanks for watching
Lighting is an interesting topic for sure. Looks like the one you got will do the trick well enough. I have a mini-GI angle head. It's LED (bright but I don't know lumens) lightweight plastic and I can clip it to my pocket for hands-free. I view lights as "emergency only" kit, as they stick out like a neon sign at night...but are a necessary tool if you need to see in the dark. Yours is a lot more durable than mine, but as it's used sparingly, hopefully mine should do.
Yes as emergency only thank you for watching
How bout passive evasion??? A topic to be discussed in a future episode?? With all that is going on in the world 🌎 why not???....!!! Thanks!!! ❤✌️🤝🎯💯🫡
Good idea been thinking about that
Reading you Lima Charlie... That's the beauty of the FLC: a little extra real estate over combat suspenders and pistol belt or TAPS system, PLUS you can arrange pouches to suit yourself. I wear mine extended, so most stuff hangs around my waist instead of higher on my chest (back aches). I wear mine as issued: easy on/off and ventilation instead of "reversing" it into a chest rig. QUESTION: Do you carry a pistol or secondary weapon?
I do it's on my blet foe my pants
@@observationpostcharlie1365 : Can you make a video on WHY you carry both? My thoughts are a rifle for field use, and a pistol for EDC/Gray Man etc. If you keep your tools in good shape, carrying both seems redundant to me, I'd love more insight. Thanks!!
@pop401k hey good question I carry a pistol but mainly as you said grey man or edc or light scouting not allways on me with my other gear ans if I do carry as a back up on my main gear it's only to get me to my carbine
Nice set up
Their cast iron cookware is decent as well, that light aint bad.
Ok thank you for your input and thanks for watching
nice one
How is she holding up
Interesting way you have that 2 Qt canteen secured... You can't have too much water when it is hot, but it sure is heavy!

Only thing I don't like is that weapon only takes single stack mags. It comes in 10mm now! That must hit HARD!
Yes it would an true but hey only takes a second to reload
I had the .40 carbine which I gave to the Ex so she could have something. The only issue i had with it was bent firing pins from the hard primers when i was using steel cased cheap(er) ammo. Hi-Point fixed me up with some new firing pins and springs at no charge. I really miss that carbine.
Yes these are awesome brother the replacement ones seem to be better quality
I use a flick loaded out n love it..I paracorded an alice belt under it n run a alice butt pack n 100/200rnd saw pouches on side on the lowest webbing n onto belt..works great n easier to access big side pouches then...love your vids
