I use a flick loaded out n love it..I paracorded an alice belt under it n run a alice butt pack n 100/200rnd saw pouches on side on the lowest webbing n onto belt..works great n easier to access big side pouches then...love your vids

It's a little easier to adjust it as a chest rig depending on what you are wearing underneath it. Heavy clothing and/or ballistic plates will need the rig to be loosened. Hard to do if it's still in a vest configuration. At the end of the day, it should suit your needs.
I'm a little skeptical about "reversing" the FLC to a chest rig. You'd loose your ability to open the front to ventilate, to quickly shed the gear if a crisis developed, and depending on what you're doing (climb a tree?); your range of motion. If you don't mind sharing, what's your general AO... I think you said Hoosier state. I'm north central.
What I don't get is you can literally set the pouches to a "chest rig" order and still wear it as a vest. I think the chest rig mod was done my emo's who call everyone conformists lol
