Thank you for sharing your travel adventures. (I am in middle of researching for my incoming trip and have bookmarked your recommendations)
Buddy you're clueless you should at least do a little more research for the love of God at least learn how to pronounce everything correctly it looks like you enjoyed your time in Barcelona which makes me happy I'm an American who has lived here for 9 years just a little piece of advice man where are the culture
Your 48-hour culinary journey through Taichung was both delightful and inspiring! The vibrant night markets, diverse street foods, and your engaging storytelling truly captured the essence of Taiwan's rich food culture. Thank you for sharing this mouthwatering adventure; it's a must-watch for any food enthusiast!
Great info!
How would you describe the diff between pasteis de nata and the HK style custard pastry?
Great video. I've been to Harry's next to the Navy base many times. They have lots of pictures of celebrities visiting, it opened in 1936, but one of the best is KFC's Colonel Sanders which you are sitting next to when you have your pie and hotdog.
Such a great video on Taiwanese street food! I’m definitely trying some of these dishes next time I’m in Taiwan
I usually prefer southern California because it’s cheaper, lol.
Even though I've eaten these foods before, your explanation makes me hungry.😂😂
I hope to have a chance to try some food in Taiwan.
What fantastic introduction! Your enthusiasm for Taichung really shines through. I love how you highlighted not just the popular eats, but also the vibrant street food culture. The chapter breakdown is super helpful for viewers wanting to skip to specific sections. I can't wait to see the Michelin Guide Goose & Duck segment - sounds delicious! Keep sharing your adventures; I’m hooked! 🌟
7:32 there’s a time and place for Amercan ketchup: never and nowhere 😭 take some chilli sauce
Bahn Mi is a lunchtime staple in Australia so you need to buy it before 2pm otherwise the bread will be chewy and stale tasting instead of crisp with soft inside. Many suburban shops close after the lunch rush around 2pm-2:30...the bread is baked daily but they can run out and use day before bread. Best to just arrive at the right time.
How much did they pay you?
Nice video! I've lived in Barcelona for 19 years. Oma Bistro is one our favs to go for breakfast, they also do excellent cakes there that aren't crazy sugary.
Song fa is nothing special I have better ones
Noodles in SG are mostly standardised noodles from factory, so it tastes the same everywhere
After all, is a fabulous country, what can i say.
Haven't been here in years but damn the prices 😢
Didn’t mean to make you feel whatever you’re feeling by sharing what things cost during my visit. Just being completely transparent
We don't need Malaysia wanton mee ! This is a local one, Malaysia wanton mee with black sauce! If you not sure just keep it to yourself
It really was an honest mistake as mentioned in all of the comments before you. There’s no real need to get so worked up. Would you talk to me / someone like that in person during a normal conversation like the way your comment is coming across?
I used to deliver packaging to Hojiak. Shout out to staff there!
U are one hot gorgeous sexy guy
Great hawkers’ foods in Singapore. We really enjoy having whenever we visit SG
Absolutely. So many to choose from too
Very good video about food in my beautiful country that i love so much!
Thank you and it's a beautiful country for sure!
Fabrica #1
BBQ stingray. Have yet to view a youtube video of a tourist eating this dish which is one of my favourite.
I've had it plenty of times in the past and it's absolutely delicious. The meat is so silky smooth. Maybe someday on a return trip I'll cover it in a different video
I'm visiting Taichung for a day and could not choose between Yi Zhong and Feng Chia. Yi Zhong is much more accessible from the Center but Feng Chia appears to be larger in scale. Which one in your opinion is the better option if we're only going there to explore the food? :)
@@earthtonikka for me if I had to choose between either one as a visitor, I think Feng Chia hands down had much more options and the overall experience was a bit more grand than Yi Zhong. Hope this helps? Enjoy your visit!
Hi Jeff, let me first say beautiful family and thank you for all your videos. Me and my family are getting ready for a month long Southeast Asia tour (Vietnam, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and Philippines) and when I say your videos are SO HELPFUL, THANK YOU!! I have probably spent to much of my time watching your videos today but I will say it WAS NOT time wasted. Thanks to you I am learning what is available and where to visit, AGAIN THANK YOU!! Oh and I must say THANK YOU for letting me know I can get Hot Pot OMG MY FAVORITE, lol and with Haagen-dazs ICE CREAM OH MAN and liquor OH MY ON MY, LOL I AM THERE!! And last, my daughter favorite boba, so we will be spending time in Ximending, thanks so much!!
@@lateishaclements thank you for thoughtful comment. There’s a lot of similar content out there and I do appreciate you spending the time to watch mine for your upcoming travel plans. Enjoy all of the countries you’re going to visit!
Four Seasons is absolutely not the best hotel in Sydney - not even close. It's very outdated and feels like a four star hotel. There are much better options out there
All good. Just my opinion. What are the better options?
@@fomoyolotravelDefinitely check out the Capella next time you’re visiting. Park Hyatt is on another tier in Sydney and I’d put the Crown up there too
pasteis de Belem
May fav food in sembewang, wanton mee black
Sounds delicious 🤤
Can't wait to visit 11/24 gave me great idea's
I really enjoyed my time there and wish we did at least 1 more day. If you’re in need of hotel, definitely consider that Marriott as the indoor pool / spa facility itself was amazing. Good luck, safe travels, and have fun
try the xiao long bao
Barcelona is such a beautiful city!! But Spain's culinary traditions are very diverse depending on the area.. Go to Galicia, pais vasco etc to try more delicious food. Great video
Thanks for the welcoming words. I definitely enjoyed seeing Barcelona and would absolutely come back for other regions in the future. 😀
@@fomoyolotravel Glad you enjoyed your stay and love that you want to go back and see other places in Spain, there really is so much diversity in traditions and so much to see!!
Heading to Lisbon soon. Great bang for the buck! Your videos will be handy thank you! Subbed
Awesome and I hope you enjoy your time out there and my videos are of use. Safe travels!
Hi Jeff great video, I really enjoy how much detail you add when you describe your experience trying the foods makes the video very authentic and interesting! Keep it up!
Appreciate the kind words and support!
It's very interesting to me to see your suggestions. Many of this kind of videos talk about the same places, which you didn't in several suggestions. As to "you have to put olive oil in the sardines"... No, you don't (I don't). Many people even prefer the oil of the sardines (if they aren't dry) on the potatoes. Thank you for your suggestions (I'll try a couple of them) and please do come back to try some other places.
Thanks for checking out my video of your home city! I hope you enjoy the places like I did if you do get an opportunity to try it out. Would love to spend more time out there again in the future
Great video, loved it. Appreciate your care for correct writing and pronounciation of all the different things. At 16:30 , just wanted to point out, those dates aren't necessarily of conquered places but of places where the portuguese sailors arrived for the first time. Also, that map was offered to Portugal by South Africa. Hope you guys had a great time in Lisbon and do return, always welcome!
Thank you for the clarification as well regarding the meaning behind the dates. Pretty amazing tourist attraction and thanks for acknowledging my effort in not pronouncing anything incorrectly but if I did, no offense was intentionally made 😀
Ice Cream Waffle/Sandwich from Orchard Rd Uncle! :D
Mango ice cream with the bread is usually my goto 😀
سنغافورة❤❤
Your daughter was trying to talk to you! 😢
She’s cute huh? Don’t worry, I give her plenty of love and attention she deserves off camera 😉
Thank you to love the food of my city !!!
You’re welcome and thanks for the support. We really enjoyed our time out there
Tray with bread the clams sauce !!!
Not malaysian wanton mee. Hope it clarify
@21.57 is the cutest moment.
@@akewaratap thank you! She doesn’t mind trying a lot of foods with us
@@fomoyolotravel Your travel with family gave immense charm.
I don't know how you fit all that food into your stomach ! It looks really good.
That fish market is amazing and must visit if you ever go to Taipei. I also visited the fish market in Sydney which is equally impressive and underrated. Check that video out 😄
Anyone who quits their corporate job to eat Chinese food fulltime has won my sub'd ! I live in the Bay Area so this will be good to see.
Thanks for the sub! Looking forward to churning out more videos
3:47 - Only less knowledgeable people consider that. Saying that the Pastel de Belém is the original Pastel de Nata is a misconception that has unfortunately been perpetuated on the internet and I'm here exactly to debunk that misconception: what was initially created by the monks of the Jerónimos Monastery and then sold to that bakery in Belém (which used to be a sugar factory before it became a pastry shop, by the way) was the Pastel de Belém. Since it has a secret recipe, the name is trademarked and they're exclusively made and sold there, they can't be replicated by anyone. The pastry that everyone else sells as Pastel de Nata has an unknown origin and creator and the only similarity it has with the Pastel de Belém is how it looks. You can compare between the many Pastéis de Nata but leave the Pastel de Belém out of that comparison because there's nothing to compared it to. 🙂 9:16 - You can't see the seaside from any of Lisbon's viewpoints, what you see is the Tagus River estuary. 😉
Look I’m totally cool with you sharing knowledge and respectfully correcting any inaccuracies in my video. However, if you deleted your original comment and then reposting it again cause other viewers were challenging you in the thread, that’s not cool. Let others have a voice as long as they’re respectful as well
@@fomoyolotravel - Sorry but I had to do it. It's not about being respectful or not, it's about ignorance. I know what I'm dealing with here and I don't like to waste my time with ignorant people.
Ximending/Sibuya is times square if it didn't suck
I’m sure you’re just disappointed there wasn’t a Naked Cowboy but that’s not a cool thing to say about a place to dear to millions of people worldwide
If you're going to do these videos it's best to learn the local proununciation.
@@billsinclair9571 my videos aren’t perfect by any means but no intentional disrespect for incorrectly pronouncing any words in a foreign country. That being said, it’s my channel and I will do “these videos” however I choose. If someone like you is so easily offended and makes a useless comment like this, I could care less if you watched or subscribed. Get lost
Said who? You dont need to learn local pronunciation we all know hes not from Barcelona so we dont expect him to and its ok
