Yeah, I connected my CAN Hi and CAN Low.

@@Gloomer767 it would be quieter if my soundaktor was still enabled but the exhaust itself doesn’t change volume , I would say they are very audible and noticeable but not over bearing

@@octane_media I’m guessing you disabled your soundaktor with obdeleven? So mine would be quieter if I put in eco/comfort since my soundaktor is still enabled? why did you remove your soundaktor?

@@Gloomer767 I turned my soundaktor off because I didn’t like the sound it produced and it would rattle occasionally so I just decided to disable it and you would be correct I did use my obd 11 tool

@@octane_media no issue but sound is annoying and jerk during gearshifts from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd

You can tune for E85, but then you can only pump E85. The flex fuel kit and tune allows you to pump 91-E85 without re-flashing.

You are correct if e85 is common near you you can just run their tune this is more tailored to those who don’t live near places with E85 ( like me ) but still would like to run it when they do come across it . There’s only one E85 pump within a 2 hour drive for me.

I haven’t noticed too much on the amount of pops but more so a change on when I can let go of the throttle and get it to pop. I don’t have to be all the way at 3,000 rpm for the pops to take place now they happen a bit sooner. Thank you for the support as well I do hope the videos have helped you as far as what’s been worth it !

It does still run perfectly fine on any blend , I was more so talking for the peak power side of things I should have specified! Thank you !

I will definitely say the higher reduction does take some getting used to it doesn’t always like to go straight into neutral sometimes it wants to just keep on going into gear

I have not yet I am working on that , I’ve been working with another company on a separate tune currently and haven’t been able to reflash 034 yet onto my wife’s car to do so, over all I love the tune but I also am really enjoying the Unitronic software on my 40th anniversary and I know they are having a sale right now !

I would agree with the manual over all being less than ideal , I have something on the way to hopefully change it for the better it’s a complete replacement unit for the stock shift box/ cable box

When I popped the stock shifter off yes , there is a way to lock it out as well so it can’t move

No I haven’t gotten check engine lights from either of my intakes !

I haven’t tried it open and closed , but the leyo filter already isn’t closed all the way . It’s noticeable louder and yes it did come with the SAI filter

Awesome ! And I think mine took about a week not terribly long but not 2 day shipping either.

I’ll have to do a short on it ! It’s fairly loud but definitely no where near over bearing! I daily it with my 1 and a half year old it’s enough for her to say OO! On start up but not obnoxious.

I actually have two intake installs it’s a super easy process !

I did not swap over the o ring to the new unit IE told me to run their unit as is when I had talked to them . So far I have not had any issues with it!

I just bought my car 3 weeks ago (black SE with leather) and it came directly from the dealer. Slowly working on mods. I think bronze wheels are next. Will get it tuned after I hit 1000 miles to be safe. Not sure if I’d go with 034 or APR yet. What are your thoughts on those 2? Oh…and how did you get the R display??

@@hovan2yourjunk​​⁠I got the R display using the OBD11 tool it makes quick work of that kinda stuff . As far as those two companies I’ve only had experience with the 034 tune and unitronic tune . I haven’t had the pleasure of driving with APRs software yet !

That’s ridiculous that they still have markup most of the dealers around here have calmed down and realized that people aren’t willing to pay the markup any more . That was the biggest reason I didn’t get an r was the 15k plus markup on those .

19 GLI autobahn for me from a 2016 mk6.5 tomorrow, I definitely prefer the sedans over the hatch being 6'4. love both but the GTI is typically more don't know why exactly

This is actually something I’m heavily interested in I’ve been reaching out to manufacturers about them I’ll let you know if I hear anything the only one I’m aware of directly marketed for the MK8 is ECS tunings

I had his set up for my MK7 and currently my MK8 and they’re exactly the same. Feels amazing.

They are the same unit , cross compatible
