- In todays video we were actually sent a product to install and test for you guys ! A company named FitCamX sent us out a dash cam that integrates into a factory location in your cars not just for Volkswagen either. I think this is probably one of the most oem plus dash cams you can get.

I just installed mine, for anyone else having trouble getting the split plastic pieces off:
Push the top area where the mirror comes out (above the circle opening) until you hear a click of the tab releasing then pry it open a little so it doesn't click back in.
Gently pull the passenger side piece towards the passenger door until the top loosens and twist it towards the windshield pivoting on the front to pop it off.
Mine made a really loud snap but doesn't look like anything was broken. Hope this helps.

The trim where the camera replaces separates which you show. The mirror spins counterclockwise unlike some other peoples video suggests. The large flat trim slides forward about 1/2" and them lowers down with 2 hinge pins located by the mirror mount. Im super curious if this is compatible with a blend mount radar mount.
