My gf and I DREAM of renovating a bus, for just the two of us and our dog, because we ahve family and friends all over the country and absolutely no income to put into savings to go visit them. Life isn't about giving 80% of your money to a landlord, and we would rather take our home with us everywhere on our schedule than overwork ourselves trying to make a savings if we have the option. But we are never having kids, our dog LOVES traveling, and we are getting a big enough bus to include a full bathroom + a computer and video games, a tv, etc. Some people are just trying to lead more fulfilling lives, not trying to cram a million bodies in a tiny space or sit around in the woods not showering for weeks straight lmao

I clicked on this video so ready to defend these people but as soon as I saw their bedroom I just can't. I grew up poor, like living in a 70's trailer that should've been condemned, $100-$150 a week grocery budget for 2 adults and 2 kids poor. My dad used scrap material from his jobsite to split the master bedroom so my brother and I could have our own rooms. I may not have always had a bed frame, but I always had at least a mattress on the floor and sheets on my bed. I would get not being able to afford a new house and not everybody can afford a second option or prevention to pregnancy, but maybe if they spent less on subscriptions and tv's and ps5's they could afford some bedsheets mattresses and bunkbeds for those kids. Hell, if they cut down all that, maybe they could afford to get some prevention methods so they can stop having kids!! Also, if the kid is small enough to be in a crib, they're small enough to bunk w mom and dad, not the communal space. That's just unfair on the rest of the siblings.
