    Great video. I was just wondering if you said take the limb down the wire in one direction. My question is does each plant go down the wire in the same direction, or does the each plant go both ways?

    • @agoutside5192
      @agoutside5192 2 дні тому

      Good question. Each plant grows down the wire about 10 feet in each direction.

      I have a small lot and 6 plants. Can I do 2 plants per row at 10 feet?

    • @agoutside5192
      @agoutside5192 2 дні тому

      @@bernicemoney6527 You need to dedicate 20 feet per plant so they can grow out 10 feet each side. If you’re cramped for space you do 14 feet and 7 feet each side.

    I learned a lot about my fig tree from your video. This is my first fig tree I've ever had, and it is producing beautifully. I have grown to love figs as they are extremely delicious. We have been eating them and canning them and making jelly, and I just love every aspect of figs. Now I understand why they were so prolific in the Bible. Thank you for all the information. Your fig tree is absolutely beautiful.

    Really enjoyed your video. I have already been harvesting muscadines as of Monday, August 12th. I don't really know the variety but I'm thinking they must be Early Fry. I also have some Scuppernongs that are beginning to ripen. This is rather early harvest as last year it was late August/early September before I was able to harvest. I make jelly out of both muscadines and scuppernongs. It is delicious. Thanks for sharing your video.

I tried propagating two babies in the last year and was surprised that I was even successful because I didn't watch any videos or read anything to understand how this worked. Now that I have watched your videos, I see why it took a year for them to grow new foliage: ! Thank you so much for helping me understand the way these plants grow.

    I'm guessing you live somewhere in the south. If you put a greenhouse around those banana plants you might be able to actually harvest some bananas. They're already starting to grow. You can make one fairly cheap and easily with some PVC pipe and thick plastic sheeting from a hardware store. There are lots of DYI videos here on UA-cam 🙂

    Hi. We live in Port Orange FL. My sago this year put out a long cone flower/seed pod. I removed the yellowing fronds and got tired of looking at the hideous thing growing from the center. We've been in this house 23 years and the palm was planted when we moved in, so its probably 25 years old, maybe? Its been several weeks since I removed the pod and it doesn't show any signs of new growth, so far. I actually remember doing the same several years ago and it grew just fine. Its been fertilized regularly with palm fert., magnesium and manganese, so I don't think its lacking in nutrients. It doesn't look like its rotting but it sure doesnt' look like its trying to grow either. Any suggestions or words of wisdom? I appreciate you!

    Thank you... I have 2 that were absolutely gorgeous up until last fall (everyone thought they were artificial because they were so perfect, the leaves looked plastic!) Then I brought them into the basement for the late fall, winter and even a little of early spring (I am in New England) so then I just put them back outside a couple weeks ago and they turned completely brown. I thought they were dead but thanks to your video I feel good about them and I am confident they will be just fine. How long was it between these 2 recordings?
