Bird tape tied to the tree & cage will help keep the birds away. It has worked great for my plums. Grape cluster bags can work well to protect various fruits too. Something is munching your leaves. Try 100% pure need oil mixed with natural dish soap Mrs Meyers works well and H2O. Spray your leaves with it top n bottom both. It does wonders.
