Very helpful! Exactly what I was looking for, thank you
You're welcome!
The main stems are still green but all the fringe edges are brown . I had 3 blankets on mine when we got the Jan2024 article cold in NW Louisiana. So I’m going to cut them all off like you say! Thank you😊
Thank you!
Thanks! Ive got a bunch of pups in pots that turned yellow, so now i know what to do.
Update ? I got one in a pot rn wanting to turn yellow but throwing out green thorns
Great video!
Thanks
Thank you... I have 2 that were absolutely gorgeous up until last fall (everyone thought they were artificial because they were so perfect, the leaves looked plastic!) Then I brought them into the basement for the late fall, winter and even a little of early spring (I am in New England) so then I just put them back outside a couple weeks ago and they turned completely brown. I thought they were dead but thanks to your video I feel good about them and I am confident they will be just fine. How long was it between these 2 recordings?
I loves those plant ..just gorgeous.i have 3 and one was dead looking but i did what you said..looking better and when they grow from center bulb..looks cool
Great thanks for commenting
What part of Alabama do you live in? I am just outside Birmingham. Had a friend bring me a huge mature 10+ year old sago. Planted about a month ago, all fronds are now yellow except for one new green one coming out of top. Going to trim all the yellow fronds off and fertilize. Thanks for video
Hi. We live in Port Orange FL. My sago this year put out a long cone flower/seed pod. I removed the yellowing fronds and got tired of looking at the hideous thing growing from the center. We've been in this house 23 years and the palm was planted when we moved in, so its probably 25 years old, maybe? Its been several weeks since I removed the pod and it doesn't show any signs of new growth, so far. I actually remember doing the same several years ago and it grew just fine. Its been fertilized regularly with palm fert., magnesium and manganese, so I don't think its lacking in nutrients. It doesn't look like its rotting but it sure doesnt' look like its trying to grow either. Any suggestions or words of wisdom? I appreciate you!

My husband didn’t know how to cut it, he cut the branches like he was shaving them. The summer sun burnt them and it’s so ugly. I hope I can save it
I’m sure you can. Let me know how it goes!
Is your dog alright? Looks like it was nibbling at one of the palms. Heard sagos are highly toxic to dogs.
Today is May 2, 2024 my Sago Palm Trees are yellow as well, are you saying to cut all of the Golden Leaves off.
Yes
Where are you located?
Alabama
My dog kept on pissing on my sago. And ened up killing them 😢
