It's both. Jon was dead for 2 episodes of time - end of 5x10 to end of 6x2 - AND his dead body appeared in 3 episodes. So if he'd died Tuesday evening and arose Thursday evening he'd have been dead for 2 days' time, but was dead for parts of 3 calendar days.

I'm with Ashley. The issue that was being discussed is for how long Jon's body was dead on the show. It appeared on 3 episodes but the body wasn't on display during the entire episode 5.10. Lets do some math: s05e10: 1' s06e01: 50' s06e02: 54' - 1' ---------------------------- total 104' .... that's the length of 2 episodes 😜

I'm with Ashley on counting on 2 episodes. He was murdered at the end of season 5. We saw his body again in 6x1 and 6x2. So we continued to see him in the next two episode.

Ser Gregor was more talkative in at least the first book (I've not yet read the others), and definitely capable of forming complete sentences 😂In AGOT, he's present when Tywin, Kevan, Tyrion and a few lords are discussing Jaime's capture by Robb. He talks about the Lannister outriders failing in their mission and suggests that they take each failed outrider's eyes and give them to the next. "A man who sees nothing has no use for his eyes. Cut them out and give them to your next outrider. Tell him you hope that four eyes might see better than two... and if not, the man after him will have six." Tywin looks at Gregor after that and Tyrion isn't sure if the look in his father's eyes is disgust or approval 😅

Ashley - Math is legit. Lyndsay - Ollie did indeed have to go. Stefani - Oathbreaker = Karstarks betraying Stark (again). Ramsay betraying Rickon (who as far as everyone knows, is the true ruler of Winterfell). The Night Watch betraying Jon. Lord Alliser either betraying the Watch or his Commander. The Harpy in Mereen betraying the organization. Many betrayals.

Okay, this is coming from a math teacher… Ashley is correct! From the end of 5x10 to the end of 6x1 is one episode, and from the end of 6x1 to the end of 6x2 is another episode. So that makes 2 complete episodes with a dead Jon Snow. Think of it this way… he spends about the same amount of time dead at the end of 5x10 as he does alive at the end of 6x2. However, if you want to strictly count the number of episodes in which Jon Snow is dead for at least part of the episode, then it is 3 episodes. But, the period in which he is dead is the span of 2 episodes.

"The Oathbreaker" is not referring to Jon, he kept his oath and died for it. but it refers to the Ubers betraying house stark, because all this time, they were protecting Rickon and Osha and kept them hidden and never pledged to house Bolton. but after Jon let the wildings through the wall, they are the closest to the wall and farthest north, so they felt betrayed by Jon allegedly a half member of house stark, so they decided to ally with Boltons (still not pledged to Bolton) but they did break their oath and turned Rickon to the enemy. That's the main oath breaker title of the episode.

Her math is correct, it's just a matter of a precision necessary while making a statement to back it up. Jon was dead for exactly two episodes worth of time - he died in last seconds of an episode and got back to live in last second of the episode. Imagine we refer to it as for example "died on monday noon, resurrected on wednesday noon". Jon was seen dead in three episodes. Following the previous example, he was alive half of monday, dead half of monday, entire tuesday and half of wednesday. Dead for 48h, which equals to two days, but spanned across three different days. Both statements are not mutually exclusive, you just need to keep your wording very tight. The bare necessity here is acknowledging difference between prepositions in "for two episodes" and "in three episodes". Team Ashley ftw :)

The Waif is pushing Arya’s buttons as usual to make her admit she wants to kill her (thus breaking character since she is not supposed to be passionate about murdering future colleagues). And Arya is pushing her buttons in return by asking what name she should add to her list. If the Waif gives her real name, she is the one breaking character because at this stage of training, just like Arya, she is supposed to have forsaken her past identity.
