Fun Fact: Cersei's childhood friend, Melara, also had her future told to her by the witch. She was told she would die that night in that forest. After Cersei and Melara left they agreed that not speaking of the witch's predictions will prevent them from coming true. However, Melara was so understandably sad at hers that she was inconsolable, so Cersei pushed her down a well in the forest to prevent her from squealing. So Cersei committed her first murder, killing her best friend at 10 years old.
@@1HalfbloodPrince ha yeah, that meeting with the witch haunted her and it made her paranoid for the rest of her life. There was another prophecy the witch gave that said the valonqar (younger brother) would bring about her death. Part of the reason she has hated Tyrion. Interestingly, even though Jaime is her twin brother, Cersei was born first. So it may be Jaime who kills her (book specific). The showrunners cut that part of the prophecy out of that witch scene.
From the start of the cold open. Stefani has to maintain a powerful poker face. Excellent job. -------- Girl, you have been heavily tested in the last few episodes . ------- From the Death of the Viper, to the giant in the tunnel, to the death of Ygritte, the death of Shae, the death of Tywin. ------ Stefani and her game face skills have been working overtime to avoid spoilers. Great job Stef.
HYA Lindsay. I hope you are well, you are looking well but I hope the off-camera time is just as good. Thinking of you as you recover. always in my thoughts. And never to leave the rest out Stefani and Ashley... you guys are special too. LOVE the reaction as always.

An important disconnect here that I think some people miss is, the idea of kingship. Stannis has a very Westerosi view of kingship, which means that the subjects of the king follow. By making Mance come over to his side, he brings the wildlings to his side. But that's not the wilding way at all, and Mance knows that. And Jon, whatever his other objections, still automatically thinks in a Westerosi way, so he completely misses the point, and he and Mance wind up talking right past each other. It's horribly sad to watch, really. Mance isn't dying because of some "pride" or "principle"; if he submitted to Stannis, every single wildling following him would immediately repudiate him and do their own thing. So bending the knee would accomplish **nothing** at all. None of "his people" would be saved, none of "Stannis' people" would be saved. Mance knows it; Stannis and Jon just blindly assume the opposite because that's their worldview.
How clever with the drink! I didn't realize how invested I was in it till last week when I caught myself wondering what drink will be next season. I was thinking Mother's Mercy. Then I was like what would be in it ..that's when I quit lol. Well thought out!
I feel like it's a bit too spoilery. They immediately thought of white walkers when they saw it, so they'll be expecting white walkers to show up in Hardhome from the moment Tormund says the name and Jon starts planning to go there.
Gotta love how Lindsay has been adamant about Dany's potential turn to the dark side since the very first though. ^^ She's gonna feel so vindicated when everything's said and done.
@MugShotzReacts I know it's controversial but I actually liked it and recently rewatched the show and thought wow when you really start to exam her there's a ton of red flags the stronger the grows and the further the shows gets.
25:19 "she is changing" .... very well observed! Not many of the viewers of the series have been really catching this, at least not at this time you did. 25:50 take your note
Ashley recognizing the name Illyrio was satisfying to see. Stef, wondering if you should show them the clip from season 1 (ep. 5?) with Arya in the dungeons coming across the conversation with Illyrio and Varys. I don't think it's a spoiler at this point in the show (some of the related-plot from the books have been taken out), but it's a cool connection to make regarding Varys' game(s) behind the scenes. Proud of Lindsay for 'sensing the Lannister bitch' attitude haha.

@@Dzwalkthrough hard disagree season 6 is one of the best seasons of TV I've ever watched. It had 5 or 6 episodes that for me are maybe some of the best TV I've ever watched
The child actress for Cersei did a brilliant job. The way she was emulating Lena perfectly was just great to me. It takes skill to play a different-age version of an existing character! You have to copy the original actor or actress' gestures, tone and pacing, while not coming across as cringe or overacting. I'm always impressed when it's done well!
Since the other 2 don't read the comments was the flashback of Cercei and the woman talking about a more beautiful queen will come referring to Margerey or Dany

Once Tywin dies, the show starts to feel... different. Not bad, just different. "The King will have twenty children, and you will have three. Gold will be their crowns, and gold their shrouds." "When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east. When the seas run dry and the mountains blow in the wind like leaves." The witches on this show are poetic AF. 😂
There's a real competency problem once Tywin dies. Nobody feels good or competent. When your bad guys are tripping over themselves, it's hard for them to present a credible threat to the characters you like. Yes there's the threat of the White Walkers, but they don't communicate really, and there's no real strategy behind them. They don't move and shake. They kill and raise the dead who then kill more, and anyone without a Valyrian Steel Sword or wielding a shard of Dragonglass can't do anything against them. They just seek to overwhelm through sheer weight of numbers. Nobody listens to the very few competent people and from here on in, everyone with power is incompetent at best, downright foolish at worst.
In the book's Tywins body had a nasty smell and his faced had a weird smile which made Jamie and Cersei very uncomfortable as they had never seen him smile before lol.
Thank you Jon, your gesture honors you, it is true, everything falls apart, without Tywin in Landing you smell the weakness, Daenerys learns to govern, without Dragons, Tyrion has to assimilate what cannot be assimilated and where is Arya, prefer not to talk about poor Sansa Steph: I don't want to imagine how painful it will be when the girls' screams of our beloved Shireen remain engraved in their minds, that's Game of Thrones..
Robalito comes to life for the first time, and learns to fight, just like Ollie, but he has already been in hell from which it is difficult to get out, This is A Song of Ice and Fire... it is not a country for young people
34:55 I do remember how I've seen it for the first time and I was thinking like (That was best what Jon Snow has ever done according full 4 seasons and one single episode from the fifth) I liked Mans a rare leader of his people that thought about future of men :)
This is the most important thing to remember about the dragons, they see Jorah as their father, and their mother has cast him out and taken a man (Dario) who they do not like or view as their father. Drogon is a teenage boy lashing out at his mother for casting out his dad.
One thing the show never really delved too deeply into was how unreliable and vague prophesies can be. The "younger more beautiful" person Maggie the Frog mentions could be one of four (or more) people - is it Margaery Tyrell (as Cersei believes), Sansa Stark, Arianne Martell (not in the show, sadly) or Brienne of Tarth? The same with the 'Valonqar' (little brother) - Cersei believes its Tyrion who will be her downfall, and yet she is the elder of the twins... Time will tell, whenever the books are finished.
The Valonqar might not even be **her** younger brother, it could be the younger brother of the other queen (Loras? Bran?), or the younger brother of her three children (either Tommen, or *his* younger brother ... dying in childbirth?), or just someone who is the younger brother of someone important or someone present at the scene, or someone for whom being someone's younger brother is a big part of who they are (the Hound?)...
This is where the show starts to lose me (overall it’s still top tier) but having Mance refuse to submit for no reason because the showrunners decided they only needed Tormund annoys me. They could have extended out his scene with Jon, written good dialogue then executed Mance in a future episode, it would have felt more ‘Game Of Thrones’.
@deonjames1041 I thought the scene with Jon and Mance was absolutely fantastic it wasn't just because of Tormund the actor who plays Mance is a well known actor and wasn't easy to get for the role because he's literally in so many other films and TV shows
Poor Lord Robin. All that milk and no strength to lift a sword 😅
