Mine loves (as stated in the manual) CCI 40gr Mini Mags and Remington Thunderbolts. CCI Blazers (40gr LRN) also work flawless. Mounted it on a Wilson CQB olive drab lower and it looks amazing. Heres a tip, if yours came with the crappy polymer magazine, throw it away and buy steel 10 rounders for the GSG 1911 (EXACT same as in this video) Bought mine off FleaBay from gunshopmom for $32 with free shipping and they are still for sale for $34 free shipping as of October 2015) They drop free, look / feel great, feed flawlessly and are very easy to load with the little attached "load assist" button.
+champer slimmerthannone Had the magazines for almost three years now and they work excellent, I highly recommend them. The Wilson 1911 conversion is one of my favorite handguns and I know I fired at least 3K rounds from the GSG mags so far. I tried the +2 (red plastic) followers sold on-line. They give an occasional FTF and you need a tool (nail / small stick) to load them so I gave them away. They work perfect in my friends dedicated .22 SIg (GSG) however. If you dont mind using a loading tool and you would like 12 round mags then give the +2 followers a try. The GSG mags, yes, DEFINITELY buy some.
