I saw him in his late 70s, in Sevierville, Tennessee. One of the best concerts I have ever been to, on a par with seeing Les Paul on Tuesdays at the Iridium. You mentioned the alternate picking video. Which one was that, specifically? (there are a number that might be the one, so thought I’d ask…)

This one's a twister~ I'm still sounding robotic on it. Its hard to get that fluid sound if that makes sense 😕

I saw Doc just a few years before he died. Burning it in his 80’s. He was playing a brand new bourgeois that day. These people that say oh I’m too old I could never learn to play fast I have joint and tendon pain it’s just another bullshit excuse not to put some work in.
