There are few things that will wake you up quicker, on a cold winter morning, than being slapped in the face with a mucky wet cow's tail. 😫 If it's a horse you can braid or bundle up the excess length, but a quick trim for a cow is a simpler option.

What do workers in other industry do, when greedy corporations and their owned politicians try to screw them over? They go on strike. It's bad enough that most farmers have to buy everything retail and sell wholesale or into some quota / bidding system. No other industry tolerates not being able to set their own prices based on real annual costs. Now UK farmers are being punished for building their farms so it can function generationally? The proven best method. Do the ignoramuses in your parliament not know real farming can't just be taught in agriculture courses without the years of apprenticeship only family farming can provide? This sounds like a corporate land grab scheme to me.

A few of those feeders might not pass their next MOT inspection. Does Pa Wellies do his own welding of projects like feeder overhaul or does he hire out the work? Opps! Plywood makes for an easy quick-fix too. And nothing lasts longer than a temporary repair.

Great video ladies ye are an inspiration to the farming community I’m farming here in cork 80 cows love the show hopefully that ridiculous inheritance bill will be blocked I really feel for ye politicians really need to put in wellies for 3 months then they might wake up keep the spirit up ladies we are all behind ye 👍

You work 7 days a week for generations to build up a viable business. Then a bunch of idiots come along and take 20% of it for doing the square root of b*****r all. They then use that money they have stolen from you to give away to other countries, put people who have broken into the country up in 4 star hotels and give pay rises to civil servants who will be only working 4 days a week and from home. You have every right to be annoyed - very annoyed. The sooner these evil politicians are gone the better. They have screwed the oil and gas industry, the steel industry and are now screwing the agricultural industry. By the end of 5 years there will be nothing left.

And then the government will use the money for the illegal emigrants.

You've got it totally wrong as to why you need, too regularly clean out waste, like x1 a week on those bunkers- it's not room for the fresh silage but that does come into it, it's more stale silage under ftesh will put cows off eating everything that's there, hence it builds up with crappy bits plus fresh they won't touch as the smell puts them off.

I am watching from Australia. Brilliant vlog ladies. So correct me if I am wrong. You pay tax on your earnings, pay death tax, plus the government wants to tax you a third time with inheritance tax. That is discrimination. Don’t you have anti discrimination laws? I am appalled any government would want to stop farmers from feeding the nation. Does the government want to rely on China, India, Brazil etc to provide for the UK? I wish you well in your fight. I have English citizenship and have signed the petition against this proposed change.

You say you "take the time to make sure the cows are really clean". But looking at the cows all that means is that their teats are clean. The cows are far from clean.

Good evening lady's you and your family have worked 7 days a week hard work most of the time most British people support you unfortunately there's a plan the labour government needs land to build on they have to build a million houses a year to keep up with demand unfortunately they don't have the space they want to put you all in a position where you have to sell your land only rich land developers can afford to buy the land our country and it's on the news tonight take in more migrants than any other country in the world that's right the world so unfortunately they will drive most of the small famers into a position were you have to sell to them don't give up stay strong the British people are with you
