There's so much I could say about you too you always make me smile your working together sisters and not one punch thrown in anger well not on camera lol. Girls please don't ever change your mum and dad must be so so proud of you all always looking forward to you posting another video makes my night till next time 👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍
Brilliant job as always sisters, absolutely crucial keeping the parlours clean and hygienically friendly atmosphere for the cow's. It's very interesting to see how much prep is done during the summer ie getting the grass to a good standard for silage to feed during the winter months, just interesting to know that you're already going through your second silage clamp too. TK and stay safe 🙏 💙 🙏
A few of those feeders might not pass their next MOT inspection. Does Pa Wellies do his own welding of projects like feeder overhaul or does he hire out the work? Opps! Plywood makes for an easy quick-fix too. And nothing lasts longer than a temporary repair.
Thanks ladies Do you find any difference in the milk yield when you change silage clamps, as an avid youtube farmer follower, so many say that a sudden change in diet can be detrimental Also, when moving the feeders for cleaning are rats an issue, again I've seen it on other channels, however the difference is, your cows are on slates the other channel is on straw, so might be the heat attracting them as much as a food source Great vid, hope mums OK, see dad is keeping busy Take care all Geoff
You've got it totally wrong as to why you need, too regularly clean out waste, like x1 a week on those bunkers- it's not room for the fresh silage but that does come into it, it's more stale silage under ftesh will put cows off eating everything that's there, hence it builds up with crappy bits plus fresh they won't touch as the smell puts them off.
