This is Oscar's brother he made me subscribe to you on all your platforms 😂
I recently got the mongar and I'm having difficulty attaching the fly to the sideways facing pole at the top, using the little red aluminium hardware. With one side in, I'm having to pull the fly with quite a lot of force in order to attach it to the opposite side. If the fly's been tied to the poles in the middle it's pretty much impossible. I understand that the fly is supposed to be tight, but it just feels wrong and I'm having fears of ripping something. Is this how it's supposed to be or could there be a problem? Thank you.
@@friction3474 Try setting it up with the top pole under the others it may give you more room.
Nice looking bikes dude. ❤
@@MartinWhite-i5u Thank you.
If you brake less on the down hill your rear will slide less
really f...k your liquid drinking and filling asmr sounds man! its extremely irritating !!!
Been waiting for a camp for a while
I have the Mongar 2 and really love the ability to set up fly-first and break down inner first like you did here. It's a great feature for rainy days. This tent certainly isn't designed for winter camping, but I've always been curious about how I'd like this tent in the winter months.
@@yamamancha for the UK it's fine but if the snow was really coming down it wouldn't support the weight.
Can you get a bearing from A to B from the app so that you can apply it to a compass?
@@simonmayo4618 I'm not sure if you can.
Nice vid. What size would you recommend for a male 5 ft 11 inches
Best thing to do is to try and get to bike shop and sit on a few different sizes.
How random! I moved and brought my first home in Wales 3 years ago. Not too far from Rodneys pillar. Thought I'd have a little search on UA-cam, and noticed Zoe straight away. I used to work with Zoe in Lichfield! Glad you enjoyed the walk, I'm up there most days, good for the lungs 🫁
@@EnhancedConversions That's cool, we've only done the walk once but definitely will be back again soon.
This video has convinced me to pickup the Mongar. Love your vids really cool stuff!
@@Mondinosaur It's a great tent, thanks for the kind words, glad you're enjoying the videos.
What dog is it ?
@@Real-mu51c He's a cross Frenchie and pug I think.
Some motorbike riders choose this tent for touring. Some say this tent can be erected in less than 6 minutes. It can outperform more expensive tents in moderate to heavy rain. It's good to have space outside the sleeping area if it does rain & you need to make a hot drink/food or store some of your stuff. Definitely the one to buy & spend money on a really good sleeping bag & mat.
Hi where do you park to start off with ?
@@binyard1972 There is a campsite/farm just down the road. They have parking at a decent price. I have seen vehicles towed from this area. There is also plenty of free parking further up into Ogwen valley but it goes fast.
@outdoorgaz5 have you got the co ordinates as I can't seem to find anything on maps or the farm name etc cheers
@@binyard1972 This is the name of the place we parked. Gwern Gof Isaf Farm & Campsite. Hope you enjoy the walk.

Hi can you go listen to my song the meme song maker
Did you upgrade your kayak to something more advanced? If so, what did you get?
@@daveys No we haven't upgraded yet. I think it will be next spring now for us.
@@outdoorgaz5 - Are you likely to go for a new boat entirely, or just swap to the dropstitch base? I’m not 100% sure but I think that the dropstitch base will fit in these.
@@daveys I think we may go for a whole new boat. We had a first puncture over the summer.
Great video thinking of getting this App , also your hat is ace !

"remote area" ...in the UK? Yeah, ok. 😂 Hope the extraction wasn't too painful. I recently picked up a Mongar 2 for US$93 that I think is just a no-brainer.

@outdoorgaz5 I think I will. It'll be here tomorrow, but we are still close to 90F in the Midwest States. I'm excited though! It'll be enough room for me and my 80 lb. German Shepherd😊

Adding to the comment about not having fires, whether its a permanent one (there should be a stone ring for a fire and also have water/sand or something near by to put it out if it is) or not. THE FACT ITS STILL SMOKING WHEN YOU'VE ARRIVED THERE SHOWS HOW IRRESPONSIBLE PEOPLE ARE WITH FIRES! A little wind and the right conditions and thats a wild fire that'll be out of control putting people, wildlife and the fire fighters who have to deal with it all at risk! I for one don't agree with having fires, its against the wildcamping guidelines as it does leave a trace. However, this isn't an attack at you (even though I don't agree with the fire), thank you for taking the rubbish of the previous irresponsible idiots.
