  • After an amazing camp on top of the Long Mynd I realised my campervan would struggle to get me back down in the blizzard conditions.
The journey down would have me drive down a very steep and narrow road with a drop off at the steepest part. I was definitely a little scared.
Join me on this short adventure.

Ice under or... temp? Usually I think it's fun to see Englishmen and other middle Europeans when they are in the north of Sweden and Norway...I'm from the middle of Norway...But as for your decision it was absolutely right . The weight is not a problem, but there must be new tires and preferably with spikes or chains. Down there, it's scary anyway. If you are near the brake, the wheels lock on older cars...cars without ABS

Glad to hear that someone from Norway agrees with my decision. Thanks for watching

I would have stayed put mate, turned on my diesel heater, and stayed put, even underfoot, it looks dangerous to walk down.

I wouldn't drive on it even on a warm dry sunny day 😬

Off road tyres dont equate to snow tyres unless they specify that.

Oh gosh no idea where that road is but definitely looks like you did the right thing by not driving it in that snow!
Just stumbled across your video! New sub here. Love living my van life dreams through people on YT! 😍

100% you did the right thing, I've driven the Burway road on many occasions, it's bad enough coming down in the dark with another car coming the other way never mind trying to get a van down in those conditions!!

Glad to hear I'm not on my own then. It was a nice walk down just wish I'd taken a few layers off first. Thanks for watching
