Hey Greg, I’m an Aussie here from Adelaide. How did you get cheap rent in cairns, do you work full time? Or live in a share house?
We don't say laundry liquid. Tha's just what the shop calls it for some reason. We would usually say washing powder or washing detergent.
You didn't mention that Australia food has a health star rating of five stars. If a food is healthy then it's five out of five stars and if unhealthy a lower number of stars. Tim Tams get half a star out of five showing they're very unhealthy. Foods like San Remo wholemeal pasta gets five out of five stars but brown rice only gets four out of five stars. Baked Beans get four out of five stars probably because of the aromatic after effects.
The rail line Greg is only one small part of a much longer rail line to Forsayth in the desert regions of Queensland and the train the Savanalander does a four day trip with people on the train staying in local pubs at night. How's your leg now and have you fully recovered. I like how the title reads Rainforest Railway. Being an American I did think it may read Rainforest Railroad but we call railroads railways due to our English heritage.
paradise on earth .
Great video. Here in Western Australia, almost everyone does 10 over, because the speeding fines are so cheap compared to the eastern states, and the cops generally won't mind unless you're being stupid. Welcome to Aus!
You need to drown the sausage roll with sauce.
Being a citizen of any British Commonwealth country generally have an easier time moving to Australia. These include New Zealand, Canada, The UK, India and others.
Lol
It's a lazy practice by some postal delivery contractors of not taking the time to knock and see if anybody is home, but just dropping a card in your letterbox and continuing on to the next address to do the same thing. They're delivering cards, not parcels. Delivery to a post office =/= delivery to a home.
Basically, if you're a wanker we won't let you stay. This guy is not a wanker ie he can stay
I've loved orange slices all my life and I'm pushing 70. 🙂
You forgot about fucking roos in the outback mate!
STOP eating that bloody junk food.,,, get some pork on your fork
I wonder how many people know that is a door latch in view off your left ear… very Queenslander house thing. But you definitely should have the birdworld one it is very cool
I wonder how many people know that is a door latch in view off your left ear… very Queenslander house thing
It is not weather mate, it is the seas. Weather is heat, cloud cover, rain etc. sea conditions is wave height, direction and rate of waves. Use Seabreeze or similar apps to check two or three days out for any boat activities. If the sea conditions are bad, delay the booking
Definitely need tomato sauce with the sausage roll mate
Lol again you yanks have absolutely no logic at all. We stick to speed limits because.. 1. It's the fuckin law. 2. Speeding is dangerous. 3. If you get caught speeding you will havd to pay a fine and most people want to avoid that. I can't believe i needed to explain that.
A servo sausage roll with no sauce???? You yanks havs zero taste and no idea 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
They make you pay inside so you don't just drive off after you fill your car. I swear you yanks need EVERYTHING explained to you 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 It's basic logic.
It's called PETROL mate not gas. It's a liquid not a gas. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Why do you yanks call America "the states"? It seems totally pointless to say the united states.... of America. Just say America. We all know you're a yank. We have states and we don't call it the states of Australia. We just say Australia. I swear you yanks have absolutely no logic
You yanks really can't spell basic English words right either. It's flavour, yank 😂😂😂😂 Not flavor. Same as aluminium ;)
The post man lazy mate that’s all
I work in tourism here, mainly dealing with older American tourists. I never bring up gun laws, they do about 50% of the time.
I want another video bro upload it!
How many people have been killed because your second amendment? The more we study American constitution the more convinced we are here in Australia that America is not a democratic country.
Aussie used to call the Brits whinging poms now we give that title to the Americans for whinging Yanks…ah ah ah! Very funny!

Karens and guns lol
hey im not even 20 seconds into the video but seriously, you need to take care of your skin. You look very burnt, Remember the australian sun is far stronger than anywhere on the planet. SPF50 or nothing.
If a finger bun tastes like a hot-dog bun, you have far too much sugar in your hot-dog buns. Finger buns are sweet buns with sugar in them, hot-dog buns are bread rolls with no sugar anywhere near them.
We love our Kiwi cousins. Also, we are part of the Commonwealth so UK folk are home here & us there.
Never forget that most Australians think Americans are fucking stupid.Thats because they are.Probably the stupidest people on the planet.
Seagull chicken thing. LMAO. Masked Lapwing (not a plover, despite the incorrect common name). They have prominent spurs on their wing elbow joints, and are insanely aggressive during nesting season. Magic birds.
Im expecting a surge in views for this video as of recent events.
This really help me out, thank you for sharing and I wish you the best of luck too.
You sure that jerky isn’t dog jerky 😜😂
Back in my day we just stole a loaf of bread
Ive been to most of these places in the video🤣
Remember America. The Nazis invaded Germany first. Think about that if you're capable. What's left of your democracy is at stake here. Dumbf trump wants to be your Totalitarian Authoritarian Dictator.
You can't eat a finger bun without butter
Love your content Greg ! We are Aussies living in Melbourne and have done the same pontoon experience. We also had pretty crappy weather (I'll never forget a heap of people who were really sea sick) We enjoyed it - but were shocked at the amount of coral bleaching. But, the marine life was superb. We've travelled to Port Douglas a number of times and love it (also Palm Cove). Are you planning to film there - and the Daintree ? I'm sure your audience would be interested. Keep the great content coming ...
I working on a camping video and I think I’ll feature the daintree in it !
you are bang on mate. ts illegal to get codeine, melatonin etc..its fkn ridiculous. but yeah workplace way more relaxed
it's scary that Americans have no idea about the rest of the world.
The beach nets are for Croc's
Always makes me a bit sad when decent people come to Australia and i know its only for 12 months. We let in so much garbage and they can stay for ever😢
Australian's will commonly call Americans Yank instead of Yankee, as it comes from rhyming slang for septic tank (they aren't directly calling you a yankee). There's an uncommon variation of 'seppo', shortened for septic tank. I've only heard people in the army use that one though. It was popularised from a period where American soldiers passed through Australia during ww2 and caused a bit of a raucous. Today 'yank' is embedded in the culture and meant in jest, and not as an insult. So Americans will hear it from Aussies they are friends with at some point, even abroad. Australian's can't help but take the piss out of their mates to the point that I think they feel pain holding it in
Australia: it’s fckin boring and is a pig state. At least Americans can’t be fined for swearing in public.
