This is a meant to be fantasy and I would like point out that just lifting the names and Demographics of a cleaning crew and applying them to the command chain of a top of the range, cutting edge, sophisticated war machine is fantasy. I'm sure that there are janitors who dream of being a different demographic and a high ranking officer on a space ship.. But even cleaners must get bored with being written up as dashing, clever, scientists, warriors and the like. I wonder if they fantasise about being written as they really are.

It would have made more sense in the story if the gravity tea manipulators malfunctioned first and then the human explain why instead of the human saying it, and then it magically happening at that very moment, he should’ve followed up the event with the explanation
