Hello! The trigger is a 4 person fight, not 8. It's also extremely late at and the first day of a 7 day stretch of boosts, at the time of you commenting here. Naturally, on a Monday at these hours there's not going to be nearly as many people active. I also am not too sure what ship you're on, which will naturally play a factor as well, as some ships are less populated than others. I would like to note as well that scaling doesn't work quite like that. It will scale to a degree to the amount of people. However, gearing is going to vary greatly from person to person. 4-man Trigger quests can often be a bit more tricky when it comes to queueing, considering more people will generally want to run those in pre-made parties, especially considering that it'll generally be more time efficient. Do remember the only the leader of the party's triggers get consumed. So if everyone has enough triggers for one run each, you could do 4 runs by simply rotating who activates the quest. That being said, naturally there will be high activity hours where many more people will be queuing into it solo to try to find a group to run with. Best of luck throughout the week & especially into next weekend where activity will definitely boost!

@@Spikesxu I suspect you might be right about the 4-man thing. I had a hunch about that. I have tried the trigger multiple times at various times since it came out not just today with the RDR boost.

​@@somfplease The Premium RDR Boost of 200% started 11 hours ago, as of the time of this post. It started on a Sunday evening & lasts for a week. Naturally, most won't be in a rush with such a large window. Especially not so late in the evening on a work night. Sunday the 21st also held large dates for a lot of the gaming community such as the yearly Evo Fighting Game Championship Tournament holding all of its finals for the entirety of the day. To boot, maintenance got pushed up to Monday. The day immediately following the start of a long boost period. Which will further delay people. Once maintenance is over, people will be on the game more readily. Try again during more active hours, especially later into the week or on the weekend, and hopefully you'll get some better results! just tried the trigger by myself. took just over 10mins. got nothing. not even a master fragment. I suspect you need to get a better time to get anything decent. Edit: it's a 15min time limit not 20 so I did it in 5mins. did it again. I got just over 5mins again. no drops of worth. wont be doing it again.

@@somfplease Hello! In the video I stated we had 100% boosters and did ten runs. In which 2 out of 3 of us got one. As mentioned in the video though, Premium PSO2 Infinite Day, which lasts 7 days this month & is 200% RDR & Preset boost, is the sweet spot to actually farm this trigger for master fragments. Outside of it, results will definitely not be as good.

Indeed, you can buy these in the shop if you want to throw the meseta. However, they're easily obtainable through the LTQ so if you're looking to save on meseta, that LTQ is a great option!

Hello! "People play Phantasy Star for it's action game. Not some Card Game. " I mean. This statement alone. Cause we both know a lot of people only play for the Phasion. An overwhelming amount, at that. And don't get me wrong, because I'm 100% a gameplay/combat 1st player in PSO. So I do for sure hear you. But I can't act as if people don't enjoy these other things. I always talk about this, but just because something isn't for someone, doesn't mean it's not for someone else. I know a lot of people who love Creative Space and it's essentially the only thing they do. Creative Space was absolutely massive and a great implementation to the game. Line Strike, while not as massive, has been a great addition as well. As someone who does not traditionally care for TCG type stuff, I find myself in awe with how addicting Line Strike is once you get the hang of it. It's truly quite enjoyable and I've heard a largely positive reception from it. It's ok for devs to put things into games that you don't necessarily care for but others do. The big thing is that you understand that & try not to divide communities by bashing on this or that, or people who enjoy those game implementations. Surely, we all want more from NGS. As everyone always wants more from every game. That's of course the case. Could resources have been possibly better utilized? Sure. Even though they developed Line Strike 100% outside of the scheduled content, as they talked about in interviews with the developers. So it was moreso just a side project you do in your spare time. Think like, you have a giant Star Wars Puzzle or something with 50,000 pieces. It's not going to be something you'd put before work, but instead a side hobby that you do when you get the time. That's how the Line Strike development process worked. All that being said. To wrap full circle, I am 100% a gameplay guy, so 100% would be happy with just full focus on gameplay & open world & stuff like that. But at the same time, I also understand that I'm not the only person playing the game and not everyone has the same interests as I do. I hope this response helped to give some insight!

That's how you do it! I must say, the game becomes so much more exciting when you start trying new classes that you've never tried. And when you start to actually build weapons for all of these classes. You have this new freedom to play whatever class you want and still be competitive with them. Sometimes you play a class for a long time to the point that you need something fresh. The great thing about NGS is that all of the weapons play completely different. So it's always an exciting time learning a new weapon & how to best utilize it against different enemies. As, often you'll have to change the way you play against certain enemies, to fully utilize that weapon & its class's abilities!

Fortunately, you'll have till the 30th with this boost, so hopefully you'll be able to work some things around there! And best of wishes & luck with your rng on enhancing!

Best in slot across all classes & weapons? There's always room to improve. Whether that be having a weapon for different scenarios such as a weapon a Wix Weapon on top of a Fatale weapon etc, or in general different weapons for different classes. There's always room for improvement in everything in life!

@@andysnyder3844 Define "bad". Bad because it can not do the exact same thing that another class does? I'm not sure if you're familiar with how RPGs work, but they generally work in that each class has its strengths & weaknesses. NGS honestly does not have any "bad" classes. But it does have classes & weapons that work worse or better in different situations or against different bosses. Weapons that require different types of input or combinations. etc etc. One must be able to understand the whole image before they can understand the process of growth.

I don't know how old you are but presumably I'm going to say when you were a "kid" was at least in the early 2000s or late 90s. The thing about the internet back when you were a kid is that people were still grounded in reality to a degree. There was a clear separation between the internet and the real world. Now those two have become blurred. People are no longer grounded in reality, but instead hide behind anonymity to act and say things that they would never do or say in real life. In short, people have become cowards. Weak. Hiding behind a screen, out of touch with reality. It has nothing to do with how annoying people were or are. It has everything to do with how times have changed and how toxicity is glorified now. People hide behind screens and lose touch with reality. They become toxic, manipulative, and live in lies. So their whole existence (online) is a lie. Friendships can't be based off of lies and weasel-like behavior in the first place. Amongst many things such as the emergence of cancel culture allowing these things to germinate at incredible speeds. As, cancel culture ultimately just enables bigotry, ignorance, and promotes toxicity. There's a whole bigger deal to this that goes much deeper. But I'd have to write an entire book on that.

This was actually from a few weeks ago on stream, but most definitely either way, playing Valorant at 3am is always a gamble. To be fair though. Late night usually has the more mature crowd. Whereas naturally you'll get more of the immature people during the day. Either way, Valorant has a lot of weirdos in it lol. Edit: By a few, I mean several weeks lol.

Oh absolutely. I have no issue with the system itself, and this short actually is a snippet from a longer video in which I discuss the full thing. Long story short, I stop ascending all my characters at level 60 for enhanced difficulty. This has actually forced me to build all my characters & test playstyles outside of the meta. I readily clear Spiral Abyss with level 60 characters. The issue comes in where Imaginarium Theater requires me to be level 70. But to make it worse, you don't have to be an ascended 70, you just have to be 70. Which is essentially the same thing a what my characters are, as they're past the 60 ascension. It's just silly that they would work it like that & not even allow people to at least attempt it.

So if you like playing Genshin, you are a weeb? While its Gacha system is a big part of Genshin, it is also an open world game that many people, adults and kids, like playing. And compared to your need to hate on someone’s preferences, his love for Genshin seems great

I play Genshin because I enjoy the gameplay and the story, which is extremely captivating. While the game is a gacha game, that does not take away from the creative nature of the game. Instead of lashing out at individuals whom you do not know & projecting your insecurities upon them in attempt to deal with past trauma that you have not healthily resolved, you should search inner within yourself and look to find out why it bothers you so much that someone can enjoy something that causes no harm to anyone else. And for to close, you used an inclusion in that, it makes "us all look bad". I am not part of whatever you are a part of. There is no, "us". It's super frustrating! I've put so much time into playing the way I play & gearing all of my characters, only to be gate kept into not being able to even ATTEMPT something that I know I can complete.

Getting high level gear is extremely easy now. Especially with the addition of EX Augments & Eredims. LC Augments make this easier, as well as crazy campaigns that have been going on that allows much greater accessibility to top tier augments. The gearing discrepancy and gap has greatly gotten better. It has shrunk by substantial levels. And I mean absolutely substantial. The gearing discrepancy was 1000x worse before LC augments were introduced, and at the height of how bad it was, was when Neos Astreans were the meta weapon & the original Dark Falz Aegis UQ was the current meta UQ. It wasn't me if you just saw me. At the time you commented this, I was not on & had not been on for several hours prior. So you couldn't have ran into me. Perhaps a similar name or something of the sort. Do remember, I only have one character & that character is Spikesxu on Ship 1. I have literally no other characters. Normally I would say the easiest way to tell that it's me is of course by name & by the NGS Official Creator Badge that I always wear over my head. However, there are people who were in the past part of the NGS Official Creator program who have been long removed but still have these badges registered to their account as well. So in bad practice (which there are prior members who know bad practice very well), it'd be possible for them to try to impersonate others if they truly wanted to waste their time doing so. Naturally, if it is indeed me, the interaction will generally be a friendly one and it will generally be easy to tell due by the energy I give off. If you ever see someone who you think is me, saying questionable things. There's about a 99% chance that it's not me. Nonetheless, I'm sure we'll run into another at some point! Not that I have any idea what your character name is in the game, which would make it difficult for me to realize it's you! 😂

Yea definitely great for slow weeks, but still as more time goes by, the less incentive there would even be to play it on slow weeks.

I agree that they shouldn't make people play it if they don't want to. However, I also understand how fun it is & how huge it could become if given the proper incentive. As someone who doesn't usually really care for this type of content, once I started to get the hang of things, it started to become way too addicting lol. It was just that first hour/two or so where I had absolutely no idea wtf I was doing, that it felt questionable. I do believe it's important that they find some sort of way that doesn't intrude on players who want nothing to do with it though. But also alluring enough to grab those who do. They have a really good thing here but they'll need to find a proper balance, as to not disrupt the balance of things.

@@Spikesxu perhaps weekly or bi weekly tournaments. With a base prize for all participants. And top seeders can get prizes such as vital gauges, basewears, or emotes. Could even make them tradeable in the player shop if people would rather get meseta from them.

Yea that's understandable. Naturally, that's why they made it the way that it is, in that it's its own standalone type thing. Similar to CS. It's honestly loads of fun though surprisingly so. Took me a little bit to get the hang of it & I had no idea wtf I was doing at first. But once I started to understand it, it became pretty fun lol. But yea, it's important that if they add incentives, it doesn't make people like yourself who have no interest in playing it, be forced to play it. So it's definitely a topic that the NGS Team will have to thoroughly discuss & consider.

@@Psaimbettr Thank you! I pretty much exclusively solo-queue because I genuinely like interacting with random new people. This is a double edged sword of course however because naturally, solo-queuing in Competitive Ranked Play presents a lot of unknowns vs if you were to run with the consistency of a duo or trio in those ranks. So naturally, my rank has never really reflected my actual skill level 😂. But it's how I tend to enjoy the game.

Yea indeed I think that being able to make a bunch of different types of decks really adds to the longevity & fun in it. Because it allows you to make more challenging decks for yourself or element-specific decks. Etc etc. I think they actually did a really good job at Line Strike and I see why they were very proud of it. And heeyyyy! most of your matches won, lets goo!!

All this indeed! I was actually surprised as to how much I enjoyed it too. I figured I'd enjoy it, but I found myself pretty quickly immersed in it as I began to gain better understanding of the mechanics. Definitely something that can be built on moving forward but indeed with better incentives to actually get & keep people playing it. Of course, without taking away from the main game in itself.

Exactly that's the dilemma that they face. You can't make people feel forced to play it. However at the same time, once those titles are obtained within the first week or so, there will be virtually no reason to play it, you know? So while it's enjoyable, it'll be short lived as no one will really play it after achieving those titles. This is where an incentive of some sort would be great. Though what this incentive would be, without taking away from or misbalancing things, is hard to say.

This is not "normal" in mobile games. Don't attempt to normalize this. Because it's not. It may be "seen" in certain mobile games that clearly target a more adult audience. Which there are a plethora of clearly adult-marketed mobile & gacha games. But it's just that. Those are adult mobile games. Often having nudity or very clear hints towards soft p**n. Honkai Star Rail is a game that is heavily targeted towards a younger audience and even has an ESRB Age Rate of 12+. You've go to be out your mind if you're going to sit here & tell me that 12 year old should be subject to this. And lets then flip the genders. If this is a male, with females being sat on, chained up, humiliated, etc as seen in this trailer. In the same game, marketed towards the same audience. You're going to tell me that this is ok? It all comes down to execution and how things are presented. Jade was presented extremely poorly in this scenario. If the game was an adult mobile game like one of the many you hinted at, then it wouldn't be as targetable for scrutiny. But that is not the case. This is a game that's literally targeted towards a young audience of 12+. They could have done a much better job presenting this character. It was completely unnecessary to present her in this light, and could've still maintained virtually every aspect about her & how powerful & feared she is over the IPC.

If within this same game, Honkai Star Rail, the genders were reversed for this scene & character. The man had women around him, sitting on one like a chair. Tied up, humiliated. Would you keep this same energy? This is a yes or no question. If the genders were reversed, and it was the same exact game of Honkai Star Rail with the same target audience, would you keep the same energy and be all for it? You see no issue with that whatsoever? Nothing wrong with different personalities and types of characters. However, issues can occur when the execution is off, especially when given the age range of your general target audience. Let me fully clarify. You can be fully creative without sexualizing everything and feeding into dommy-mommy tropes. You can also be creative without the degradation of genders. This is fanservicing, and completely unnecessary fanservicing at that. Once again, would you be supporting this so greatly if the roles were reversed? Just trying to make sure you're consistent with the energy you're giving out & the stance your standing with.

@@Spikesxu You are adding your own bias to your analysis by including statements like "Tied up, humiliated" and "degradation of genders." It's obvious that you are approaching this with more of an ideological bent than a genuine analysis of whether this was a good introduction for a character for the general Honkai audience. The whole point of the "dommy-mommy" trope is that the interaction is consensual for both parties. You say this is "unnecessary fan service," but the general audience really enjoyed the trailer and the introduction of this new character. This is evident from the positive reactions of many Honkai content creators, with numerous examples of both men and women loving the new trailer.

A fantasy game with an ESRB of 12+. Whose targeted audience is young & in extremely impressionable formative years. It's ok to be constructive and speak about these things.

Yea they know what they're doing. You can't expect them to literally just hand you everything for free. Especially when they're literally doing all but that in the first place lol. THAT being said. Everything that I'm seeing points at this LTUQ running until the end of the campaign. Which DOES mean that Premium users will get the benefit of the boost, come the 21st. Premium Users will get a PSO2 Ultra Infinite Day as well. So 7 more days of the boosts that were available to everyone last week. The campaign runs till the end of month and we have no other LTUQ lined up. Only LTQs. Which would lead me to believe that Halpha Part II will remain the UQ of choice. Eating good. Real good. Especially come the 21st. Also, in regards to you not getting a Gigas Maste or Halphinale, that's pretty rare. While they aren't 100%, they are EXTREMELY high drop rates. So I wouldn't expect going into that UQ & not getting at least one, very often. Definitely a rare case that you didn't see either. Happy hunting!
