    Note: The Voice Chat section was actually mistranslated by whoever translated the Interview over at Dengeki. The Katakana for "chat" [ チャット ] & "ticket" [ チケット ] is actually very similar to be fair, so it's an understandable mistranslation on the individual. So in that portion of the article where they discuss voice chat, it's actually voice tickets.
    That being said, my stance towards a proximity voice chat remains the same 😂.

      It would literally be the equivalent of opening up all the cells in a max security prison with inmates on death row for violent & repulsive crimes, & telling them to have fun, do what you want.😂 Like, nah man. Global would turn dark so quick. Would see like a 50% drop in the player base in week one.

      @@absolstoryoffiction6615 Nah, don't even give that level of toxicity a place to grow, if it were a proximity voice chat. Stop that one before it even starts. Even if it has the option of being toggled on and off, it's 100% going to drastically tank the playing experience on Global. New players are going to naturally be curious and see what it's about when they get on the game & are making their first impressions. And that's going to be a HUGE turn away when they toggle that thing on. People will also naturally be peer pressured into turning it on, or otherwise fooled to turn it on, only to get bombarded with a bunch of bigotry, etc.
      For Global, it is absolutely not worth the amount of damage it would cause to the game vs the handful of overly toxic people & creeps it would give a platform to, to even further their overly toxicness & creepiness. lol.

      I think they do a good job at describing it here and I help to make it more understandable. How it works is pretty clear, but how they should be used & the implementation uses is what we'll be yet to see. How much damage they do, and how the combinations work, can really create for an interesting new layer to the current combat. I imagine we'll get even more information in the headline!

    The biggest issue with Dark Blast is that it was a one-time use and "all in". Devil May Cry 5 Shin DT is a better version, and it seems this new Meter Systems will be of a similar kind. Which is always a plus.
    Line Strike?... I'll collect but much like CS. Its all back burner content... But it would be interesting if there was an Auto Card System for combat.

      Ah, I see. I just assumed they had it properly translated least it was an official translation on the Degenki article. I just scrolled up to look at the Japanese text & it does indeed very clearly say 'voice tickets'. The Katakana for ticket & chat in Japanese is pretty similar, so it was definitely an understandable oversight by whoever translated it.

      This is not the case. At all. Also, base has been going on for 12 years now. We'll say 9 years for intents of purposes of saying that the game ended when NGS Launched in 2021. In which case, gives the team quite a lot of wiggle room.

    i wish they would address the poor graphics quality on xbox series s. there is no reason why it should look so bad. It can handle all the latest aaa games in 4k. I have ps5 and it looks great but the controller sucks and I am at my wits end. it will be the reason why I end up dropping the game very soon.

    • @Spikesxu
      @Spikesxu  Місяць тому

      PC Master Race. Can't relate.
      Lol no but in all seriousness, I'm not overly familiar with how the Series S version looks or operates. As, I only play on PC. I think I've seen people who stream on the Series S, and from what I saw it didn't look too terrible? Naturally, PC will always benefit the most though, because it's PC. And NGS is designed to do an amazing job at capturing new hardware. Which is one of the reasons that NGS has such a strong foundation that allows it to be kind of future-proof for several years.

    • @DatBoiRatchet
      @DatBoiRatchet Місяць тому

      @Spikesxu let me fill you in with the console side of things. On the PS5 we are stuck playing the PS4 version of the game, Sega did not release the PS5 version of NGS so we are playing last gen version of the game on next gen hardware, which means we don't get the high end features like PC or close to that since whats offer is mid range quality settings at best.
      Im sure the same applies for Xbox Series X, I believe they're stuck playing the last gen version of NGS as well Xbox One S. I would like Sega to release the PS5/Xbox Series X version of NGS

    • @Spikesxu
      @Spikesxu  Місяць тому

      @@DatBoiRatchet Ah, ok that makes sense. So basically NGS was released to operate on the previous gen's versions in regards to PS4 -> PS5. That makes sense. And the Xbox version still kind of operates like an early release game would for a console (generally you don't see games that really take control of a console's true power until later in its life cycle, as it takes time for developers to fully tap into it).
      I can definitely understand the frustration there. Realistically though, I'm not really sure the urgency they would have on this. At the end of the day, that's always been the perk of PC Gaming. Consoles are ultimately limited, and given that the hardware stays the same, it creates further limitations. I looked up some gameplay videos of NGS running on PS5 and Xbx S and I definitely see where the frustration comes from. But at the same time, the game does not run "terrible" on these. It's definitely a downgrade but is it worth the resources to prioritize optimizing them? Down the pipeline sure, but the question is when.
      Naturally, the PC version is always going to look better on a system that has equipment that can continue to push it. NGS is also a game that was built on a great foundation to be able to do this & do it well. Most PC games are built in that regard, where the better hardware continues to make the game perform better. So it's not as if they can realistically chase the PC metric, as it's not really feasible. PC also has access to other current & constantly evolving technologies that allow the games to run smoother.
      The things with console and crossplay in general is that they'll focus on making sure that the game is accessible to all. So generally, a slightly lower performance will be had to make sure that the game stays accessible to everyone playing on those consoles without causing issues. For instance in reverse, if NGS was PC-Only, we'd see a lot more features as well. Because it's cross-play with console, it actually keeps functions at bay. A good example of this is actually accessory slots. If the game were PC-Only, the amount of accessory slots would likely be much greater. However, limitations are had in order to make sure everyone has a similar playing experience.
      I may have rambled here as I tried to touch on this, so please let me know if this was a little confusing or not. Either way though, I definitely understand the frustration yall have & I completely understand the want for better optimizations on those consoles, considering that they can technically handle more.
