wait, im a MD. A long prognosis like "11" years isnt relatable at all. It means that people dying now have been diagnosed in 2013, but being diagnosed in 2024 maybe could mean having a better prognosis due the the new technologies and therapies. I dont treat brain cancer but i would keep an eye open for some promising clinical trials. i send you a hug

Hey not sure how familiar you are with the latest research that's being done on low carb diets, but it might be worthwhile for you to explore the low carb/ketogenic diets for tumor growth slowing, you might want to read up on it, not sure if your doctor has suggested dietary changes yet but there's brand new studies being done on reducing carb in take to slow the growth of tumors, you might extend your time frame longer or just enough to wait for new solutions to come.

This is horrible and i cannot imagine the grief youre experiencing and trying to reconcile this but sending you love and hope you will find your way to enjoy your life experieince no matter how long or painful youre told it will be, find love and joy between the moments of pain. It takes an incredible amout of courage to be able to speak openly to the internet strangers and possibly to others just as afraid and grief stricken as yourself with news of terminal illness ...we all are terminal really ... just some get a time range others pass suddenly...you have been given a gift and curse .. My grandmother passed from brain cancer ...she had 6 months from diagnosis...back in 2001...she was gone in 2 months...medical science wasn't there yet..but she was older at 61. But it went fast...you have 10 ish wonderful years ahead...challenging but ...share and receive as much love now ...love is the most beautiful thing in life in my opinion...much love and strength to you and your family ❤
