Hello. The oil level switch works ok dry contact principal. If the oil level is good in the chiller oil level switch contact should be closer. In case oil level is ok and oil level switch contact is open then replace the switch

The simple answer is between 1 to 3 days. Here is the detailed answer. It depends on the chiller size and type. For air cooled chillers oil separator is accessible. You can just pump down the chiller and drain oil. Change oil filter and change oil in just 1 days. But if the chiller doesn’t have valve to isolate or pumping down is not possible than you have to add 2 extra days for refrigerant recovery and vacuum.

Maybe you can recover refrigerant and change the oil in the first day, changing the oil at the beginning of evacuation phase, then left the vacuum pump overnight to pickup evacuation results next morning. Used to use two 12 CFM vacuum pumps whenever possible

As far the valve specifications i.e Volatge Steps Hertz Milli amps Are same as the old one you dont need to change the card Secondly its not possible to install another type of card . As the rest of the cards in the chiller will not communicate with new type of card. If you are replacing the card is must be same as old

MTA setting is for must trip amperes . In case compressor draw current morethan the mta setting it will trip the compressor Fla and rla are not controlled by MTA

Please check the following. 1: EXV Board Green light should once in 1 second and red light should blink twice in 1 second ( if lights are blinking differently it could be the software issue or board is faulty) 2: Confirm the board address ( Dip switch settings) are correct 3: Communication in and out terminal make sure are clean and well connected on the EXV board and main processor board. thanks for your comment.

You can start Troubleshooting with the following. Make sure all other compressors are off in the chiller and only the compressor having alarm of low discharge superheat is working. 1: Check the Discharge Pressure Transducer. 2: Check Discharge Temperature sensor 3: Check Expansion Valve Operation ( If it is opening as required) 4: Check Discharge pressure 5: Check suction pressure 6: Check inlet water Temperature and Outlet Water temperature ( outlet water should not be below 6 Centigrade ) 7: Check compressor capacity ( what percent load it is working on before trping) If any of the above parameters are out of range correct them and your alarm should be cleared.
