This morning I updated my Schwab Intelligent Portfolio which began on 7/31/2017. The IRR for the period ending 10/15/2024 is 132.2% while the S&P 500 index returned 122.9%.

This is exactly why I'm scared to receive this roller over check by mail. Why can't fidelity directly and electronically send to Vanguard?

I invested into crypto around covid when I was 24 . I’m 27 years old now and I sold all my bitcoin . Because buffet was right it’s a Ponzi scheme scam and it doesn’t produce anything . I wasted 4 years believing in bitcoin and it was a waste of time I’m fully set on investing aggressively on stocks now

thank you for the actual, honest review. there are countless "reviews" where they don't even have a vanguard account. A general idea of returns I can expect would have been helpful though.

? Is there anyway to rollover a small amount from fidelity to vanguard or does it have to be the whole amount?

I know this post is two years old, but it is still very relevant. I opened an intelligent portfolio yesterday. I then got on UA-cam for reviews. Yours was the first that popped up and by far the most relevant. I wasn't liking the 12.5% that they now hold in cash. It makes the 6% you were talking about look good. I cancelled my account today. I did not fund it yet. You echoed my exact concerns. I'm still all in on Schwab, but I invest myself.

I have a dumb question why would I want to pay them if I can just buy the same ETF allocation they just showed me on the screen? Is it because they will sell it for me too if there is a down turn?

I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.

Been using Wealthfront since 2018 and love it's simplicity, tax loss harvesting feature and best of all, the low fees!

FYI- if you want to transfer funds from an existing IRA account to a Fundrise IRA account you have to use Millenniun Trust, their IRA custodian.

I been in Schwab’s robo advisor for over a year now. I just keep that balance at 25-27k and I move cash at times to my Schwab self directed account. I keep it for their free investment advice whenever I want it.

If exersise is at liquidation event, if employee leaves before liquidate even would it be exersisable when liquidation event occurs?

So if I do a Roth conversion in vanguard they will transfer say the 20 shares of VXUS to same 20 shares of VXUS into the ROTH account? What I mean is that vanguard won’t first sell the shares in the traditional Ira, then move the cash to Roth IRA? Great tutorial, I will use it at end of year when I do my first Roth conversion ever ☺️

I recently sold some property and have about 300K, I don't like the current interest the local bank is offering, .05%, so Wealthfront caught my eye and then I found you and I'm sold. Just wanted do let you know and get a wee bit of opinion on what you think. I have an investment portfolio with the bank and I think they've done well but I have always had this itch that maybe there are other good investment options I'm not aware of. Thanks, Regards, Bruce

You explain things super clear, very easy to understand. Quick question now, is all this towards “retirement”? Why everything is related to when you going to retire, how many years and how much will you need ?…. Isn’t there something like “I invested today and next month I made gains well I want to use it now and enjoy it as I want” ?????
