Thanks for your videos. Very informative. My question is: when and how are expense ratios applied? If I buy $1000 in an ETF do they take their fee out first and use the difference to buy the fund? Or is the expense ratio applied annually and they subtract the dollar amount as a percentage of the shares I own? Or is the expense ration appled in some other way? Please clarity. Thanks!
