Lee Pace is an astonishingly good actor. Idk if this show can really survive without him. I love Laura Birn, so I hope the show recovers, since I thought this season was a bit dull and tangential. But they played off each other so well.

I don't get why they spend so much money to buy an IP and then they don't use it? Nothing what made the Foundation trilogy great imo made it into the series - like looking over the shoulder of a character as they deal with a crisis in one chapter and then having a big statue of the same legendary character in the town square in the next chapter.

I don't know if it was her acting or her character's personality, but I was happy when they did the time skip after S1 because I thought she would have been long-dead, but instead, she was in cryo sleep. I still don't know what the point was, they weren't ready to enter the conflict. They were fine in that out of the way corner of the galaxy building up their tech and forces but then they go and announce their presence so early. They got taken out so quickly by just a single ship and a small squad of fighters. If they had stayed quiet they could have had a huge armada and even more advancement on tech in a few more centuries.

How in the name of Sanity is this allowed to be called "Foundation"?! Seriously, it seems like they just waved the book cover in front of the camera and called it a day. Maybe it's good sci-fi, but it's not Foundation, not even a little.

by far one of the very few books turned into tv show where the writters made alterations like the cleonic dynasty and it worked, the book readers loved it.
