In addition to this update, the Verschmelz Weapon series got a small nerf in its potential because it gets way more value out of the Fixa Termina buffs than any other weapon would since it crits 100% of the time. It was only a small nerf of a further -3% potency but if you had a Fixa Termina of any kind on the Verschmelz it's an overall buff of 7% potency for the weapon. For the preset skills now as well, they can all be randomly obtained through the Enhance Preset Skill system while before it did not include the newer fixas that got added in an update last November
Been looking into Unwix. What does enhancer qualify as for weak points so I don't do it; Bouncer sub-class? Shifta/Deband? Flugel PB? Hard time finding the answer.
A weak point is any natural weak point that gives extra damage, hitting a blight rounded spot, or if you are matching the enemies elemental weakness with your attack. So unwix doesn’t apply under those circumstances and wix does

Important thing to know about abandac is that the 2 parts of potency are multiplicative. This means that fixa abandac 5 with 14 unique augs is slightly better than attack 5 (by about 0.15%). Same goes for blastor, the 2 parts are multiplicative, not addictive.

I main Bouncer and I want to learn Braver (Katana) and I'm very undecided about how much the +10% PP consumption of the Reyaar Weapons will impact in my playstyle (currently I'm using verschmelz with Fixa Termina Lv.4). So, with that said, I have one Einea Armor with Fixa Enthusia Lv.4, one with Enthusia Lv.3 and one with Performa Lv.2. Would it be enough to bypass the extra PP consumption of the Reyaar weapons? Is it better to buy some Einea Armor: Vio units and try being lucky while adding new preset skills on them? Thanks again for the video!
Enthusia is particularly good on Katana because there are a lot of sources of PP regen within its combos/attacks like counters, brave combat, combo finish etc. Reyaar will definitely be noticeable (its like having 2 Performa Lv5's but in the opposite direction) but with the fixas you have already you shouldn't have much problem if you keep up with what Katana does best (i.e. everything in the last paragraph)
Thank you for the fast answer! One last question, is it good on soaring blades as well? Since SB are my main weapons currently, I'm curious about it, and since I'll try learn Katana in the future, it is definitely a good thing to know because I got kinda lucky the fixas for katana at least hehe.
@@ratosratos I think for Soaring Blades there aren't as many attacks that benefit from Enthusia as Katana has but it should still be nice for sidestep counters and other sources of PP regen. I haven't played much of Soaring Blades since the rework so I am not familiar enough with what gives PP back now for it

I got Unwix on my flug gunblade with the Add Lvl 1 Preset Skill item and it made me ragequit. Not coming back until they add a way to remove a fixa or let the Add Lvl 1 Preset Skill item to roll over another fixa. Feelsrealbadman
That is one annoying part about it that should definitely change. As it stands now, you have to get another instance of that gear and even if you do, you could get unlucky with the fixa again and again. It's really bad for rare weapons like your Flugel and I understand your pain Maybe if people push for it enough then it can change
I think Fixas are generally in a better place now than before, though I do think their balance is still whack when some of the lv 1 Fixas are massively inferior to other lv 1s (such as Abandac versus Attack). Sure, they might be closer in balance at lv 5, but for rarer weapons where high fixas are unrealistic, ending up with a fixa that's high risk, no reward.. whose bright idea was that?
Abandac at lower levels should definitely be looked at but considering it’s nature, I see it as the whale fixa where someone who wants abandac is going to spend loads to push it to level 5 anyways since to build the necessary augs for it is also going to require spending real money or at least be an insane investment
@@CriticasterQ Admittedly I'm mostly bitter about Abandac since the first Reyaar I made and added a random fixa to got Abandac (and I'm not a whale or hardcore enough player that I think I'll get it to high Fixa). So after seeing just how bad it was at low levels such that it wasn't even worth trying to think about if I could use more varied augments, I did more grinding to make a second Reyaar, which got Attack, which I'll accept. Low levels of Unwix also are rather inferior, I'd say. In short, I find it odd that some Fixas have lv 1 be like ~70% of the effectiveness of lv 5, while other lv 1s are more like ~40% of their lv 5, and I don't think such a large inconsistency is great.
I am gonna return for a bit and see if it anything has changed now that the hype for CS is gone. I will keep an eye on the fixa issue. I don't see me staying long as the Sega crew doesn't have a good track record of listening to their players and implementing the feedback into playable changes. Blizz is doing this now and the game world is so full it's like the beginning all over again. I see way to much indifference to player input. Whales looking to whale, you either want my cash or you don't.
Unfortunately no, the Reyaar is considerably better than the Verschmelz. Its because the potential of the Verschmelz has -17% potency and the Reyaar has 36% potency +5% additional for PA's and techs. Combine that with the Reyaar having more attack power as well and it just trumps the Verschmelz even with it having +25% Crit Potency at Termina 5

Termina now is almost always going to be best in slot for Slayer mains but it is close to other fixas from what I have seen. I’ll be doing another video looking at a damage calculator to see the scenarios to where that’s the case in addition to other things
Most of the time the best fixa is weapon series/encounter dependent and not class dependent (exception being Slayer). In general, Fatale and Wix are strong for everyone unless there is crit rate on the weapon’s potential which can make Termina really good
