The book is It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover. I have to say so many people recommended it to me, but sadly I didn’t like it. The WWII book is The Nightingale, by Kristen Hannah and it is really good.

Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow was a wonderful audio book. I just finished Where the Crawdads Sing on audio (I know! I'm late to this one) and thought it was beautiful. Also The Women was a terrific read! Safe travels to you both!

Dina - bring Bear to the Sands Point Preserve! You can walk the trails with him and go down to the beach. We are very dog friendly at the Preserve - we even have poop bags available for Bear!

I always bring my knitting whether I use it or not. I do knit in all professional conferences because I listen better like Pam. If it is a small workshop, then I ask permission. But no one has ever denied me.

Your kits are always so beautiful!! I vote for a remote podcast, but enjoy your vacations!! I will not be going to Rhinebeck--too far for me on the West coast. But, I will follow along vicariously.

I would be happy to sew in a lining to a bag, I could add a zippered pocket to the lining.

Lining for crochet bags - I have made a few crochet bags to fit the size of those tote bags you get free with stuff or those totes that Joanns sells made from that fabric/plastic material (hope I’m making sense here). Not my idea but first saw it done in the pattern Granny Greenbag by Ellen Bloom (on Ravelry). This doesn’t help you with the ones you’ve already made, clearly :) - Rachel

I've been closely following the Gilgo Beach case and feel so badly how mishandled it was initially. The PD CAPTAIN James Burke wouldn't allow the FBI in after they started finding bodies because he was very corrupt, and speculation is that he may have known the accused killer and participated in the sex parties. I truly hope justice is served. Those poor girls😢

I have a Sak bag. Its crocheted. Its lovely. It looks brand new and I bought it in the 70’s. I use it here and there if its the right bag for my outfit, in the summer. I have small ones also more evening😮 bag size.

I think it is totally ok to knit "in company"! I know I've read that studies show that you can actually focus better to a meeting or a conversation while you are knitting. I did once have a woman in my book club scold me for knitting during the meeting and I was shocked. She was offended that I wasn't listening to her but it is totally not true...I was just doing stockinette...no pattern...just knitting around. I haven't brought knitting to that book club again but I'm still annoyed about it. I enjoyed "Tomorrow, Tomorrow, Tomorrow" too.

I walk around with my knitting like a blanket as well. My kids don’t let me in their cars without my knitting. I have a project in my car to get in a few stitches at stop lights. At work when I’m just sitting there with nothing to do. “If I’m sitting I’m knitting”
