Its funny that you all were talking about kids and social media, particularly, youtube. Back during the pandemic, when my 2 youngest kids were in virtual school, the teachers always had a getting to know you part of the class, just like when they are in school in person. One of the questions that the teachers asked my then, 2nd grader and and 5th grader who was their favorite youtuber was and why. Every single kid in the class had a favorite youtuber because that was their main source of entertainment. It was at this point that I stared to restrict computer use. The teachers already knew in 2020 how much kids were using youtube

I do other craft things and enjoy what i do, you are always laughing and smile about your small mistakes that you make ,you both have the best outlook on life as well, you are the perfect pair to watch and enjoy,always so lovely to us that your speaking too as well, a complete well done video all round 10/10 from me regards from pamela hall. You are absolutely correct regarding kids and social media and phones. They should not have them that is the parents fault. That’s really the dumbing down of America and losing all social skills.
I loved your talk about social media and kids. As a pediatric mental health professional I am say that depression and anxiety has gone through the roof among kids today. The group bullying is horrible and contributes to the rise of suicide in this population. I find it so difficult to see in our youth.
The effects of social media and students on phones in the classroom drove me to retirement after a long career in teaching high school. Thank heavens for knitting :) Thank heavens for your lovely podcast :)
Do you know if the luminous top pattern picture was done with Scaine Cocaine’s Ziggy Stardust colorway? I'm drawn to make the top and join the class. I need to see if Gina can make me a plain black to match the black in that colorway to keep the black all with the same color value. I will likely join the class also.
