I’m going to be brutally serious, this was a nice video to watch for everyone to see. But one thing: I feel like there’s issues that people always come with the excuse of saying “people can’t accept the truth” when in reality it’s that we still just speculate on what story is possible, and I seem to have an issue with people who take theories said “canon” because it’s always the books that get treated as holy bibles. My reasoning is that people always glare at the books all the time and they’re optimistic enough to use the books and shoehorn canon in there and come up with a scummy excuse to win the argument of being correct in the right way. This is technically why Entom’s leaks and evidences are now seen to be weak now. I’m not sure about Entom but I don’t like them, but I don’t hate them fully. It’s just that it’s really baffling that everyone falls victim to Entom’s pieces of evidence and take that as fact and it seems like that this develops a circlejerk where they can dig up Entom’s “reliability” for all of the books in order to find pure facts about the lore in order to be all “Haha, what we believed in was canon all along and you kept on denying the truth, so cope about it” mainly because this whole community is tired of questions. Another thing is that Scott had the rule of the books and games being separate continuities while both being canon, which created the mob mentality of the fans to think that the books are parallels, and now seeing it today is really sad given how book defenders go on to go after them and judge them by saying “X theory is canon” and “Y theory is debunked.” There’s this thing I use and it’s not appropriate but it’s called “Book shills” and it’s a term I use to reference an echo chamber within the FNAF community where people go after others and treat the books like holy bibles and start harassing people to get them on their side and win to solve the lore. It’s technically the scummiest, delusional, and egocentric circlejerk to ever come and it’s all because people want answers but now led to misinformation. With Entom, I might believe their Tales leaks are unreliable and go have the new evidence for Tales Games instead. And Entom’s Talbert Files is an example of how the community throws a massive reaction to a book filled with confirmed lore where it’s way bigger than any horrendous drama IRL; thanks to it being fake, I have a feeling that Entom just lies in order to be the winner and treat the deniers as the losers because they weren’t part of the echo chamber. All I see from Entom is their obsession with Frights and Tales being canon and they go far to have Book related stuff as their profile pics or thumbnails etc. All I can say is that Entom seems to be in a delusional state with an echo chamber that’ll continue making the theorizing community worse over the toxicity about the books. All I want is Entom to take a break and get some therapy! And this is why I’m against the books despite me accepting them Gameline. But I’m not a darn Book shill or defender because I feel like it’s too selfish to be defending everything and go with a mentality of treating that source material as your golden child; and I’m not even a fan of what’s confirmed there but I just have to let my guts get use to it; and most of the books have missed opportunities and lame ideas and it’s why I prefer a good book for a story that should need a satisfying narrative- technically who cares? I just want to theories for fun! With that being said, I just hope people understand taking a liar and defend them because your echo chamber worships that source material should be a huge delusional direction and that people should be acceptable and feel free to know much about the other fans’ ideas and opinions to enjoy theorizing the FNAF lore. A big cause of this problem is, lets just face it - There is a rather large part of the community that doesn't research facts themselves, hasn't played the games and just watches others play it, cant be bothered to read the books and only watches a couple of their favourite theorists. In short, we have a lot of theories, being told by a lot of people, with a large portion of those people potentially not being as experienced as others since we don't know if they have played the games or make sure what they are saying is up to date. So the only people we can trust for sure other than ourselves who has actually consumed official FNaF material are these theorists. And keep in mind, that being a dedicated theorist is hard, because you have to have no bias. So at the end of the day, there is a huge percentage of Audience, who may or may not be credible, and a small percentage of Theorists who discuss official content and represent experience. Thats why these people have to make sure they are saying the right things and maintaining trust and neutrality. Because, if not them, then who? Scott? We know we cant relly on him as easily now. And Steel Wool? They are still trying to gain trust back after Security Breach. Because even if the lore was mainly Scotts fault, the gameplay was theirs.

Im sorry, but lying just to stop that bad feeling you get when someone disagrees with your theories, is just so pathetic to me.

The problem is also fragile egos. A lot of these popular figures in the Five Nights at Freddy's community will never admit they were wrong because it makes them and their platform look bad. If you make a mistake, own up to it, take the hit, and move on. Everyone will forget about it in a week. Dragging it out for months just to save face just shows how irresponsible and petty you are.

It's a shame because when it comes to stuff i can't check for myself i rely on there being multiple people, either a bunch of community members or at least a few trustworthy youtubers, all agreeing about it and i'm sure i'm not the only one I undertand being passionate about a theory you have but you should never claim something is confirmed and factual unless it really is 100% factual, especially in a series as sensitive about canon as fnaf And you're right that i should try to go directly at the source instead of just relying on others about information I'll try to make more of an effort about that

Not gonna lie: the big thing I've noticed is people relying on "the game files". I'm pretty sure 99% of people who cite that stuff won't have checked it, because they don't have the knowledge or the inclination and tend to just trust that someone wouldn't lie about something that they could check. And the result of that is that no one checks it. Small thing but there was a lot of theorisation based on the claim that the guy watching TV is named man_sitting in the files... but apparently that's not even true? And I'm saying "apparently" because I personally haven't checked it. I don't personally think anything that isn't presented to the player/reader should be used as evidence so I don't really care about that kind of evidence anyway. But if I *did* care, I hope I'd be the sort of person who would check. =/ I dunno, it's troubling that anyone's feeling betrayed over FNAF theories. Like, genuinely, everyone needs to chill.

Honestly the FNAF community's problem is Scott Cawthon not being a good storyteller and withholding the answers from everyone including SteelWool. We will never get actual answers as to what the story is, so people have to make up this wild shit because Scott drives the fans nuts with nonsense and then gives us NO answers -- FOR TEN YEARS. There's leaving things up to theory, and then there's just purposefully telling us a story with no end. Leading us in circles like the damn Pizzeria Sim maze.

I'm not disagreeing that the "set in the world of the games" email was fake, but wasn't Entom only exposed to lie about when the Tales books were written? (2019 instead of 2021) That's all I've seen people talk about and post evidence for on Twitter.

I feel like this should have ended with his Talber Files response, honestly. So many things just didn't add up, or the "evidence" he used was proven to be easily faked. And then playing the victim. It's sad and I wish him well but I just wish he would come clean about stuff like this.

Absolutely true. Most theorists have bias/confirmation bias, some (like MatPat and Thomas) go as far as to even lie and make shit up. I dont think MatPat believed in WillCare, although he wanted to. So he would twist the narrative in his theory videos to make it look like Williams a "broken father" when really he's purely evil and purely unloving. This would make millions of mostly his impressionable audience believe in flat out lies. The best theorist is one with 0 bias, 0 (emotional) connection (i.e. to the characters), and isn't a liar.

Entom lies more than Notch used to lie about adding features to Minecraft back in 2009 and 2010 when it was a small indie game with an IRC groupchat that Notch would frequently post in. As an Andrew believer, I don’t think Andrew is part of the MCI nor DCI. Remember the Fnaf2 night 6 phone call? It talks about a man using a yellow suit, probably Afton wearing Golden Freddy, and this was the night that Afton killed Andrew. Andrew later splits his soul between the suit that was used to kill him, and Afton. So Andrews death is close to the DCI but is not directly part of the DCI

I've not heard the Scott stuff with FNAF World, from what I've heard, the story of FNAF World is that we're created by either Cassidy or Charlie to help restore Bite Victim's memories and cause Happiest Day.
