Why are you so angry about this small misconception in fnaf two that ultimately affects nothing? Like you genuinely sounded so uptight and pompous about such a small issue. I usually love your stuff but calm down.
Eh, because those defending misconceptions act as if it's that serious. Like those who say FNaF 1 is set in 1993... because real life murders... it's pretty disgusting behaviour.
@ender01o66 Matpat's theory about Fnaf 1 being based off IRL events isn't the only reason why people thought it's in 1993 It's also because of the paycheck in Fnaf 1 being consistent with the minimum wage of 1993, So I still think it's valid for people to think Fnaf 1 is in 1993, and just because people think Fnaf 1 is in 1993 doesn't mean they think Fnaf 1 is based off IRL murders.
I never actually thought about the phone call that much, I kinda just thought it was him freaking out because of the dci but like you said he would have already knew about it.....
Its kinda commonplace that will did the dci the week before and the calls are either pre-recorded (like in twb), ralphs been trying to downplay it, or they just figured out the missing/dead kids were connected and noticed the suit was moved, firing will then. He does switch to dayshift after complaining that the animatronics were getting aggressive, and it couldve taken awhile for them to figure out the suit was moved/the kids were connected. It is an investigation.
The messages are set for the time of the game in two. I know some people think the "summer job" comment means the messages are displaced in time. But Mr. Hippo kinda covers it in UCN. "It was autumn... or was it summer? No, it WAS autumn. I remember the leaves were changing colors." The summer job bit is a mistake he just forget to take out. The date on the check is the correct date. And my personal theory for what happened with the Golden Freddy suit is that right before he was fired William stuck Cassidy in the suit to get springlocked to death. Which is why she is the one he should not have killed and the vengeful spirit. It's why purple guy is holding a crank in one mini game and why at the end of UCN you see golden freddy twitching exactly like William does in fnaf 3 when he is springlocked. So them getting freaked out about the suit is because they found a mangled dead kid in it. Making fnaf 2 the explanation for the bite of 87 and the origin story of golden freddy.
You could argue that he was panicking because Jeremy was there when the place was closed and because the animatronics started becoming more agressive. On night 4 phone guy mentions the animatronics started acting weird and aggresive towards the stuff, does that mean anything in particular happened before night 4? No the animatronics are just growing more aggresive over time, thats why he says "none of them are acting right", and he mentions the yellow suit just as like a side note, he could have done that earlier but maybe scott wanted Golden Freddy to first appear in a special night that is night 6 and that's why the yellow suit is only mentioned now
0:56 All the phone calls are pre-recorded. They aren't happening in real time. In Fnaf 1 he mentions that he's happy he RECORDED his messages for you when he did. In Fnaf 3 we hear Recorded Training Tapes in phone guy's voice again. Even more evidence is given with the fnaf 1 pay check's date, saying it's November, while Phone Guy welcomed us to our new "Summer" Job. So they're recorded months in advance and reused. If it was a real-time phone call, wouldn't we be... talking back..? We likely work there After everything, when the building is closed. The toys are already clearly possessed in Night One, so the DCI had to have already happened. The building was supposed to close after one last birthday, and the building still has the Happy Birthday decorations up from that event, it's in the past. The order of events is still fine, the Recordings were made daily throughout a week. Just not the same one when we're working. Also, he used the springbonnie suit, not the golden freddy one. Golden Freddy still likely has a Body inside it at this point from the MCI.
Pretty sure that the FNAF 2 phone calls are not pre-recorded, since the things Phone Guy mentions are way too much related to what is happening with the establishment currently, be it the info about the first night guard (the FNAF 2 location was open for only 2 weeks, on week one William Afton is the night guard, and on the first night of the player's week, Phone Guy mentions that we are only the second night guard and that the first guy finished his week and that he complained about the conditions there) or be it the Fazbear Entertainment's statement on the "rumors" about the DCI and the Phone Guys' panic when it all comes to light as real.
@snbrinewehr3203 Same thing in Fnaf 1 though..? Phone guy talks about "Present" events for himself and the company, yet we still know they happened in the past once We hear them. There's no way the DCI happened several nights into fnaf 2, cuz the toys couldn't be possessed for the first few nights if the DCI hadn't already happened.
@@snbrinewehr3203 Why would everything EXCEPT Fnaf 2 calls be pre-recorded though..? There's no reason to assume it's any different in that One game... And again, the DCI needs to happen before Night One, so the Toys can be possessed.. and the building/decorations remain completely static throughout the week, it's clearly closed down.

An employee using the golden Freddy suit which triggers the animatronics is actually a theory, especially with the silver eyes context Where William uses the golden Freddy suit for Michael Brooks and the animatronic spaz out
This... The contradiction is solved in a slightly strange way... He could have been dressed by a Mimic after he saw how William did it. It's a strange assumption, because the Mimic was planned from the very beginning, but maybe everything was planned that way. Who knows?
In my opinion. Those that worked for Fazbears know what occurred to the children considering by fnaf 1 Ralph is lying for the company and makes lies to hide the truth from the public. That helps bolster why Fazbear entertainment is still in business post FNaF 1 (Security Breach)
Great video but I think you're missing something very important to the FNaF 2 lore. The phone calls are pre-recorded. Phone guy welcomes you to your new *SUMMER* job. But when you get the paycheck it says ''11-12-1987'', meaning Jeremy worked during winter. This means that the DCI happend months before Jeremy and 'Frtiz' worked at Freddy's. This ALSO means that the location closed due to the bite of '87 either before or after night 6 because the newspaper says that the place closed due to ''possible'' maulfuction. If Jeremy is the bite victim or another fake name for Micheal is left for debate tho.
The problem with the later phone calls being recorded is that They’re talking directly to Jeremy. Night 6 doesn’t make any sense otherwise not to mention if the last birthday happened in the past then the place should already be shut down But the last birthday is where the bite happens and TWB shows Jeremy is the bite victim meaning that the phone calls have to be around the time of Jeremy’s shift
From my perspective, as The Week Before implies, Phone Guy's messages are always recordings. So, like Tape Girl's recordings, they could be heard out of order. To me, it feels like that last recording is about the MCI, rather than the DCI, where a yellow suit was used in the killing of the children, where they went on to possess the animatronics, leading to them not acting right.
