Do you have a portable air compressor you can travel with?

I have portable air compressor in my saddle bag. A real life saver with a tire repair kit too. Everyone should have one with them.

I keep the co2 air cartridges from Ducati under the seat for emergencies.

Good on you Rembo!.....I can't believe anyone would abuse you for biased product reviews, but as you know, some just don't listen to what you say...... 🙄.
Hey, I thought I had the market on being pissed from not riding for 4-5 months due a health issue 😂, but I'm back on the bike now, making the most of the cool weather before we go into summer down under.......
👍 Best wishes, heal up, oh, I still don't know if I can ever use an airbag vest with my pacemaker but the T-air7 looks to be much cooler than the 5.......

I got a Chinese Xiaomi pump for like 25usd and although the battery barely lasts, works pretty well. These are great devices.

It’s been hot here in the DC area, miserable. My Tuono V4 overheated and shut off on me in traffic. Ugh. I hope you get back to riding soon man! I probably should take a break from riding for a bit. I’ve been riding….emotionally, and riding harder and probably more reckless. I hope your shoulder heals up soon.

Hey Nick, it might be time for you to take a break now that you know you are taking unnecessary risks more than usual. Stay safe.

Semper fi Devil Dog, with that said heat would never stop me from riding. Parris Island was basically hellishly hot 😂. I ride year around

I always ride with a compressor and a tire plug set (well, when not on the sport bike that is ;-) ) - I also always ride with an airbag - you should check out a tethered version. You get used to it quickly, and it's much simpler, cheaper and no hassle. Just replace the cartridge if required. No electronics to go wrong and no need to send it back to manufacturer.
look up hit air airbags; they make vest types where the gas canister is in front, which I use on my upright bike, and they also make a "race version" with the canister and tether in the back, which I use on my sports bike so that it doesn't get in the way when leaning agressively. You can get them with and wihtout back protector included. I like to use the ones without and simply use it over my normal riding gear.
Hopefully it gets cooler soon so you can get out and ride. It's brutal at the moment in Japan as well - sweating like a pig on every ride, but can't seem to stay away ;-)

I have a portable compressor, but the kind that plugs into the bike's power to run it. Lighter, simpler, and less likely to fail in a couple of years.

Nice little compact compressor, BUT I know me - I'd forget to charge the damn thing. I bought a small 12V compressor that can be powered through a cigarette lighter style plug that i mounted on my MS or I can use any car's plug. Got it with me all the time, same goes for a tire plug kit. It's just cheap insurance riding in the prairies. Hope you can put some miles on soon.

I’m looking at the helite hi-viz vented jacket. Curious to see how that new tech air 7 is going to be.

Just get the 10. It’s better anyway. Protects your lower portion

Has anyone heard anything about the airbag suit that was built into the motorcycle seat? It turn a rider into the Michelin man and had a plate to protect the chest. I'm not sure if it ever got into production.

That would be news to me. I do remember something about the Honda Goldwing doing something similar.

One of us always carries one when on tour. I don't bother in the UK despite 3 punctures 😂😂

2 cents on rechargeable air compressors: You should already have an SAE charging port on your bike. Carry a mini-compressor that connects to it. This way you don't have to incur the weight and bulk of the built-in battery, not to mention - will it be charged 8 months from now, when you have a flat and need it?

Excellent point that there are already charging points on the bike

You ever transport your multi in the back of a truck? Looking to pick one up that’s far away.

Hearing you speak about the heat and humidity, I gotta tell you again - you will not want to wear that nylon vest. I'm having a hard time keeping my airbag on when it's hot, and I'm dry Cali. Take another look at the Klim A1, with no nylon over the arms and shoulders.

I will definitely have to revisit it and see what kind of coverage it has
