The 2000 Ford Ranger Trailhead is the same thing, just the predecessor that became the Edge & then the Sport. And yes, power windows on the 2006-2011 models were an option. While still a great truck, I’m really not a fan of these trucks past 2003 though, they became extremely outdated afterwards. Ford really pushed it making these like this all the way up until 2011.

Bought a ranger with a bad engine. Got a 2002 taurus engine for really cheap, just to find out a couple of the cylinder bores are rusty due to a blown head gasket 😒 currently at the machine shop. Decked and bored 20 over. Cant wait to get this thing running its been sitting in my garage all year

Do not like this engine, I always thought it was really gutless & junky. It literally has the power of a 4 cylinder with the fuel economy of a V8, one of the Duratec engines would’ve been great in these.

The XL did come with a cruise control option, there was a Sport that had power options too. The Edge eventually became the Sport, exact same thing in a different name. I’m not a fan of the junky 3.0L either, give me the 2.3, 2.5 & 4.0 all day. These should’ve had the 3.0 Duratec in them instead. Also, power windows didn’t become standard in XLT’s until 2009, plus the window switches going bad in them is no worse than any other vehicle that has them too.

On my 2011 ford f150 I used a refurbished one from auto zone and the 2 bottom nuts do not tighten all the way up , the top 2 did , brake booster

The center bolt is suppose to be loose that you can take it off by hand. Even when you tighten it, as soon as you hit the road it loosens by itself.. I know, scary but they always do that....

how were u able to get the line all the way through i push mine through and it goes all the way but on the other end nothing comes out?

This should be a video on how not to change cylinders and lines on these cars. 🤦‍♂️ you’re not suppose to removed those brackets and all those bolts cause now you just lost all your alignment to the front windshield. All you had to do was put the top up and you can access the cylinders on both sides and the lines are also accessible on both sides and under the top well. Lots of extra work that wasent needed crazy.

What’s the size of the bleeder on thermostat housing. I can’t seem to find the right sized one, used hex and everything was bigger or too small.

The OP didn't explain how to set the voltage on the TPS sensor with a volt meter. Most times you'll have to modify the bolt holes in the TPS to achieve KOEO voltage between 0.79V and 0.98V
