Road King Special for the win . Biased. I have a 2022 Road King Special. Looks cooler than the classic .. I'm only 5'7 tall ..had my bars adjusted at the dealer but I have to fully extend my arms still. I got used to it quick. I have ride my Rode King Special 2 months and 2,000 miles with no windshield and no helmet. done 110mph many times, despite smacking a lot of bugs in the face here in Maine I love it. I got the 2022 in "cosmic green" I call it Army Green and black. Turns heads like crazy. Everyone asks me if it's "factory color" yes. 2022 has the dark green and black.

I love my 21 Heritage 114...but have been thinking about a new Sport Glide (to get away from spokes)...am I mad?

To this day when I bring my snake venom 883 in the shop and I go to pick it up I think it’s one of the best looking bikes in there. With z bars, seat, pipes it’s so hard to beat, new stuff lacks classic styling, plus my bills is peanuts compared to the new big bikes 😂

Your comparison to the TC is not realistic. The TC pulls right from 1700/1800 revs; you have not to rev the TC to get power...it always has power. And - in my ears - it sounds better than the M8...

I had my 2018 Iron 883 out today 11-30-2023 temperature 51 just 20 miles north of Chicago. I was the only bike out where I was riding. I believe on a respect to the sportster that Harley Davidson should’ve dropped the name when they dropped the air cooled sportster.

HD made some terrible management decisons: getting rid of the Buell line, and now getting rid of the Iron 883. Looks like Harley just want to sell the ultral high end like Ford wants to only sell the high end trucks, Hence; they sit on dealer lots all over as people want the plain F 150. Terrible management decision.

I just bought a Heritage, had a 21 Sport Glide and I loved that bike, but I actually think the Heritage handles better! Especially for two up riding!

The quality of this Video is at Pro level: in particular the use of Light. Congrats. By the way: I bought this bike. When I saw live this Blue Steel color associated with that scorched chrome I understood it was something unique and stunning and I pulled the trigger. One last comment: extended saddlebags are starting to be old style. I prefer this shorter model not just from a design perspective but for a practical reason as well: I can use a 2 into 1 exhaust system without having a "hole" under the left saddlebag or needing to add a dummy muffler.

Not opinionated when I tell you the road glide aerodynamics enable the 114 to have faster top speed than the street glide. Test it out every chance you get. Stock v stock , road glide pulls away on the Highway all day.

For me it's not the speed of the bike, It's the ride experience of the bike but still Plenty of power and speed for me. If people want the speed then buy a racing bike but for me I want and love that Classic Harley look of the Iron 883.

Great video! Indeed, some like to ride to feel alive (in style too perhaps) over functional. Guilty as charged! I’ve got a 2014 883, converted to the 1200 screamin eagle kit along but a bunch of other things I did to it to my heart’s desire. Will never get rid of it.

Nice looking bike! I also have a 2022 Lowrider. My first upgrade was cruise control. It takes some of the strain of your arms and wrist since you don't have to keep a constant grip on the throttle. I am getting new bars but with a very mild rise and pullback. I'm short (5'6") and the stock fairing does a good job of keeping wind of my chest even at 70-80 mph.
