Awesome video! When I saw it, I couldn’t help myself and took a slightly different approach to your data. I had to make some conclusions based on your data, which I hope you and your viewers don’t mind and find interesting, stimulating, or simply entertaining. The only thing I did myself was add cost (I used the HD official vivid black price for every model). Your approach is super valid and straightforward. I’m just “repeating” what you said in the video with different words. I hope you like the exercise and see if you agree (with yourself! Hahaha). Unfortunately, I cannot paste the graphic I made, but I hope the conclusions below make sense (I say it again, they are just based on the info available in the video and the cost of every model as in the HD webpage):
    1. Bike price increases with increasing bike value, but there’s considerable variation in price with bikes with similar values
    2. Sportsters have the least overall value (15.45) and are the cheapest ($11k)
    3. On average, cruisers and baggers have equal value (27.28 and 27.34, respectively), but baggers are more expensive ($24k) than cruisers ($19k)
    4. Sportster 48, road king, and road glide cost what you would expect for the value they provide
    5. Fat bob, street glide, and fat boy are slightly overpriced for the value they provide ($845, $1044, and $2787, respectively)
    6. The two “limited” bikes are way overpriced for the value they provide: Ultra limited ($7829), Road Glide limited ($6917)
    7. These bikes are cheaper than what they value suggest: Iron 883 (-$3642), heritage(-$2362), low rides s (-$2761), low rider st (-$4610), street bob (-$5721)
    8. Sportsters are the best value if you ride over 80% of your time in town
    9. Baggers are the best value if you ride less than 40% of your time in town
    10. If you ride between 40 and 80% of your time in town, cruisers are the best value
    11. Baggers are most valued for many combinations of riding situations (town, country, and cross country), followed by cruisers, and then sportsters.
    12. Low rider st, heritage, and low rider s are the three most valuable bikes
    13. Fat boy, iron 883, and 48 are the three least valuable bikes
    14. The street bob, low rider s, and iron 883 provide the most bang for your buck
    15. The fat boy, the road glide limited, and the ultra limited give the least value for your dollar
Remember, these statements are based on the values presented in this video. Values are likely to differ with characteristics not considered here. Yet, I believe Chad offered a piece of highly reliable and helpful information worth considering if you want to buy a Harley Davidson. I thought it would be nice to use that info to generate some additional practical knowledge, perhaps not so clear with the way he presented his information. Keep up the good work!

Great video. Neat take on the descriptions and scoring. Two things would have made this video better though, in my opinion: Video of the motorcycles. Even just on their side stands. And also, the correct scores for the Heritage Classic are actually 10, 10, 10..... and.... checking my notes... oh yea, 10. Looking forward to the next video.

The Heritage is a GREAT motorcycle! This was just my opinion though and I agree, the right bike for you should be a 10 overall!

Great video, as always. Appreciated your help last summer when I was experiencing delays getting my '21 Street Bob with ABS. Got in July of '21 and put 6K miles on it - friggin' LOVE it! Plan to add a RKS later this year and may be in contact again if any issues pop up here in SC. For anyone looking to buy, if you aren't "dealership loyal," reach out to Chad - crazy knowledgable and tons of inventory. Thanks again, dude.

Great video and very relevant to me as I am looking to buy my first HD. I just had couple of questions if you don’t mind addressing. First is that why the heritage scored higher in the country and cross country compared to a road king? Second why did the street glide scored higher in performance compared to road king especially that they share the same engine yet the road kind is lighter. Thanks

Man I’m glad you asked this! There are a few match ups that to some would seem off. I prefer the Heritage to the Road King in the country for its rideability. You can RIP on the Heritage. It’s so nimble and fun to ride. For me, it’s a huge part of back road cruising. Also, for me, distance riding is not all about the journey, it’s about the destination too. My buddies and I cruised up to Tennessee to ride the Smokey Mountains. While the ride there would be a little more comfortable on the King, I’d have way more fun in the tight corners and elevation on the Heritage. I couldn’t explain that in the video with as short as I’d like to keep it.
As for the Street Glide Vs Road King I feel the stability at higher speeds on the Street Glide is much better. Particularly in corners. Even better on the Road Glide. This is all just my opinion though, go ride them for yourself if you’re comfortable.
