I absolutely love my '21 Heritage Classic 114. There's no bike I ever owned that compares. Best bike I've ever ridden. Light, flickable, super comfortable and freaking TORQUE for days!
Thats how a Harley should look, just needs some whitewalls. For safety i would prefer bigger turn indicators like the early Heritage. I had a 1988 Heritage [out of Fred Warrs of London]. I took it to the USA [Sturgis 90th Aniv] as well as tours of east and west Canada, it was the most reliable Harley i ever owned.I'm 66 now and have only one life regret, selling my 88 Heritage.
I have the street bob and went and test rode the Heritage. Such a well all around bike. The smoothness and handling was amazing. Needless to say I'm looking to get the Redline red Heritage. My dealership is currently looking for me one nice review bro. ride safe
Just bought a 23 Heritage in Atlas/ Silver Metallic. With the chrome package. FYI HD has a process that allows you to run a tubeless with the spoke’s now. ..new sub😎
Just ordered one of these in 114 vivid black. Great review. Have to say, I like the studs on the seat and bags but horses for courses. Agree 100% re the tubeless tyres.
Harley sells LED rear lamps and turnsignals. And they like to keep selling them, thats why they don't put them from factory. I totally agree on the tires, tubes are even dangerous when suddenly deflated due to a puncture.
I was stunned how nimble this bike was when I test drove it two months ago . I ended up ordering a Fat Boy in Germany ( without test driving it and hope I don’t regret the decision ) . If I wanted a long distance cruiser , I would choose this over the Road King classic any day . It’s just such a comfortable ride and the seat is just the icing on the cake . The only part that sucked was when you sit on a bike like this and drive it with the stock exhaust that is muzzled it feels like you’re driving a Japanese cruiser . But once the exhaust is swapped then you feel like you’re on a good , strong bike .
I just transitioned from a 2010 Heritage to a 2023 Heritage and it is like comparing a Honda to a Caddy! I was fortunate to ride any Harley that I wanted at the test drive and you are absolutely correct in my opinion! I was convinced that the Fat Boy would out handle the Heritage but I was wrong.....
Agreed,I own the 03 Heritage Softail Classic Anniversary Edition and even with as old as it is,it’s a terrific cruiser, touring bike,I rode to Myrtle Beach from Ohio this past summer and it was a fantastic ride with no hiccups at all, looking to purchase a newer Heritage this coming summer, love the Heritage line of bikes, the ONLY other bike that comes close to a Heritage is Road King
I like your channel! I love this video. This is the exact bike I want! (Well 2021s in billiard blue are sold out). What’s your thoughts on a road king vs this heritage ? Would love your honest opinion. I like your reviews. Thanks!
Sorry for the 4 month delay. I’m a Heritage guy. Simply for handling. The road king can’t hang in the corners. At least for me. I’m much more comfortable on a heritage.
I've owned seven HD's in my life, and out of all of them I kind of liked my 2005 Heritage the best. It was a fantastic all around bike for every purpose, plus it looked classic too. My only complaint was it's lean angles, I constantly scrapped the floorboards in the curves, and I'm not an overly aggressive rider.
Thank you for your honest review.I would like to ask you a question. Is this bike good for beginner riders?Actually I am a Newbie and looking for a bike with ABS technology. I hope to hear from you soon.Stay safe.Goodbye.
Really nice looking bike only things I would change I like white wall tires. The exhaust pipes has got to go and if they could do something about those perky saddle bags but real nice ride
Is it a good motorcycle for riding in bad weather conditions? Do you have rust on chrome and locks on each saddle bags? Are your electronic equipment water proof in heavy rain?
I’ve ridden all sorts of Harleys in bad weather. I rode my own in the snow a few weeks back. Yes. These motorcycles are built to be ridden. I have a few customers that leave their bikes outside (despite them swearing they’re garage kept. I can tell it’s an outside bike stupid) and they have no problems.
Feel the same way about my 2021 heritage handless better than my ninja I can ride for hours compared to the ninja mine is black with the chrome similar to yours almost ready for the 1000 miles breaking, safe riding guys 👍🏻✌🏼
Depends on where You intend to mainly ride. Road King is KING of the Interstate. Heritage is a much better Town Cruiser, but can still do "ok" on the Interstate.
@@mikepurdy3952 thanks for the reply! I live in a rural setting. So mostly two lane highway/back roads or interstate travel for me personally. In town riding
People who are tall usually find the Road King fits them better. People under 6 feet generally find the Heritage fits better. I am 5'9" and only 155lb. The Heritage suspension set with minimal preload is an excellent ride for me.
Another young man with knowledge and Harley enthusiasm . However real professional more mature riders will tell you his driving skills are going to kill him.
Good review. Music not necessary. Your talking is enough. Anyone looking for a bike like this has no interest in background noises, only an honest review. Which you did well. Ty.
I own the Heritage 107 bought new in 2021 , wanted the color your riding in video , could not get it went with black. Black is hard to maintain DAM swirl marks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't buy a black bike. Love bike keep 4ever.
Have it professionally buffed. Then use a microfiber to clean it. Only wipe down a bike that’s already been hand washed. Dirt and heavy dust will swirl when you wipe your bike even with a brand new microfiber. Only wipe your bike with a microfiber that has polish on it, never a dry rag. This will trap dust particles in the microfiber and swirl paint. Lastly, if you drop the microfiber onto any surface, it’s trash. Throw it away.
Yes you can. The previous generation heritage was offered in tubed and tubeless tire options. Adventure touring bikes also use tubeless spoked wheels. The new CVO Roadglide has tubeless radials on a spoked wheel.
Easy to get the spoked wheels moded for tubules. Do in a lot of countries where we need to fix punctures on the road. harley dealer had them done for me, $50
I couldn’t disagree more. The Fatbob has the potential to handle better. In its stock form, absolutely not. I owned a Fatbob as soon as they released it in 2018. I was very disappointed after putting some miles on a heritage.
I absolutely love my '21 Heritage Classic 114. There's no bike I ever owned that compares. Best bike I've ever ridden. Light, flickable, super comfortable and freaking TORQUE for days!
I’ve always said it’s one of the best Harleys!
I've had almost every Harley made and my 2018 Heritage with the 114 is my all time favorite. I'm 5'10" and it fits me very nice.
It’s an amazing motorcycle!
Me too. I had 7 HD (5’10”) and I enjoy the most my current Heritage 2018

It’s my favorite softail (although I haven’t ridden the FXLRST). The heritage does it all.
One of the first no BS reviews. Its really my fave bike (when i decide to pull the trigger) haha. Great job dude

Everybody has an opinion, bought my 114 Heritage new in 2019, and I am totally satisfied.
Like I said, it’s an amazing motorcycle. If I didn’t love the Low Rider S I’d probably own a heritage.

The heritage or road king is the best bang 4 the buck

the best Harley in any way. i love my 2018 Heritage Classic 114

That’s Bedford Texas! Chad from Adam’s HD!
That’s me!
I have the exact same bike. If that watch that I’ve never known about the USB port. Thank you.
Well now you know!
Great video. None of your dislikes are dealbreakers but I’m torn between a Heritage and an Indian Super Chief Limited.
I have no experience with the Super Chief but I’m sure it’s a great motorcycle! Ride both and make a decision then.
I just bought a Heritage, had a 21 Sport Glide and I loved that bike, but I actually think the Heritage handles better! Especially for two up riding!
Excellent review..I like that it was a ride and review not just one or the other.

I totally agree about the tires. I will get my wheels sealed when I get new tires.
Whats that?
Number 1 Harley - Davidson.🌎🏍🇺🇸🦅
#Freedom.🗽❤
Would you say is more comfortable than the fatbob when it comes to absorbing bumps and road imperfections
I love my bike I have the exact same bike that you're using in the video
Congratulations! Such a cool color. Gunship Gray on chrome grew on me honestly. I wasn’t a huge fan on the website but in person it pops.
Beautiful bike

Definitely true words.
I had 7 HD and in my opinion the best handling by far is my current Heritage 2018
I love my 21 Heritage 114...but have been thinking about a new Sport Glide (to get away from spokes)...am I mad?
digging the color.
The heritage has been around since I think 83. I know they have been around longer than 88, I had an 86.
Right on.
Heritage Softail came out in 86

Love mine 2020 Deluxe😎🤘
Dude do a street glide review
I just bought a 2011
Which is better in your opinion
Fat boy or heritage
Heritage. But they’re both very different bikes. The Fatboy is great for a different purpose.
New to street bikes….is the Heritage a better ride/bike than the Road King??

Yes! Option for Tubeless Tires is the ONLY Deal-Breaker for Me, or I would already be Riding a Heritage!
Uh…HD actually DOES offer tubeless tires/wheels for the Heritage.

Cool.
Buenos días desde en España felicidades por el vídeo y espero que entiendas el español
Un saludo
just needs whitewalls

Always check behind you before starting on. Obey traffic laws .
I believe the fatboy is the best handling in a straight line bar none
The Road King 👑 is heavier but better suspension and handling

You can't put tubeless tires on spoked wheels. HDguy should know that!
Yes you can. The previous generation heritage was offered in tubed and tubeless tire options. Adventure touring bikes also use tubeless spoked wheels. The new CVO Roadglide has tubeless radials on a spoked wheel.
I would check with HD before doing that. It could leave a rider stranded with a flat.
I checked with HD. Turns out it’s not a problem. By this logic, any wheel not requiring a tube would leave a rider stranded.
10-4 on that.

cant make my mind up. heritage or a low rider st.
Extremely tough choice.

Looks wise is what I think push people away from these bikes they are so plain
Some people trick them out like crazy! I dig Vicla style softtails. Check them out.
@@thehdguy378 Yep
Thats the beauty of this model, not over stated.
A touring bike that costs 24 grand with no heated grips as standard. Shame on you, Harley Davidson.
And your point is?
