Thank you for a great review of the Road Glide special. I really liked all of the camera work, the 0-60's, the handling discussion, seating position, and numerous feature comparisons to recent past years of the Road Glide. This video helped me decide which Road Glide to buy. Great job! Thanks!!
Enjoyed your review. Always had a love/hate relationship with the RG and buy one every now and then to keep my quandary going...LOL! I'm hooked on the 2022 CVO RG Limited in Dante Red Fade. Road a friends SG with the 114 motor, impressed for sure.
Great video man, the channel definitely deserves more traction, straight to the point and quality talking points. Keep the videos coming. Just put my deposit down on the ST model myself, can't wait to disappear on some highways. Cheers
Thanks for the support! Working on another video now! Once we get an ST I’ll absolutely do a review.
I like that color a lot. great review!
Oh, so that's where the gas cap goes when filling up! I've owned both a SGS and RG and at 6'1" I much prefer the road glide. Not only do I feel less cramped but the steering feels lighter and I notice a huge difference between the two fairing in terms of wind protection and buffeting. As you, said they are both great touring bikes and I would also have no issues touring on either one. At the end of the day I would feel less fatigued on the RG. Thanks for the review.
Very good Video!
Great Review enjoyed
Just bought the same one yesterday !! cant wait for it to come in from Pal Springs !!
I so enjoyed this review, this is the exact color combination I'm looking to get...I love the Road Glide...
Thank you! I love Gunship Gray. Since it showed up on the CVO in 2018 I’ve always wanted a bike in this color!
I love your reviews! I'm a tall 6ft and my 2017 Streetglide was awesome but I couldn't deal with the wind buffeting(10-inch windsplitter). I bought a 2021 Roadglide special and haven't had to change the windscreen. After owning a 2020 Low Rider S, 2021 Road King special and now this 2021 Roadglide special I have found my favorite Harley Davidson.
That’s awesome! It’s a great motorcycle. I went on a trip with some buddies to Tennessee and a few of them had Road Glides. No complaints from them. Guy on the low rider s was feeling it though.
I have a street glide and the buffeting is rough even with a tall screen, debating on trading
Just bought my first fairing bike. A 2022 road glide special blacked out in gunship grey. Get a lot of complements on the color. Can’t wait for snow to go away to ride again.
That’s a gorgeous motorcycle. Gunship Gray looks amazing on black trim. Not terrible on chrome either.
That's a masterpiece 🤗
Looking to get a RG here real soon love that Gunship Gray with the black finish.
That would also be my choice for this year. Gunship gray is such a cool color. The guys that bought the 2018 CVO are probably a little annoyed right now though.
Your right opinion
I have a 2022 Road Glide, though it is a heavier bike than the Street Glide it handles so much easier in slow turns in parking lots and gas stations. This is due to the frame mounted fairing which keeps the fairing weight off of the forks. The steering is very light and maneuverable vs the Street Glide where the fairing weight is on the front end forks. Riding this bike I found at speeds below 50 mph the bike is very maneuverable with little wind buffeting, but over 50 mph wind buffeting is tiresome due to the short windshield that comes with the bike. A higher shield or wind deflecting windshield will solve this problem. One other area to improve is the harshness of the rear shocks. Great for smooth roads, but I fell it on rougher roads. Probably will get a legends adjustable shock system. I've had 5 bikes over the years including a 2012 Street Glide, the Road Glide is outstanding in power and capability. Now I wish it would just stop snowing!
I'm 5'6 an I'm struggling with going roadglide or street glide i like them both an I'm leaning toward roadglide due to a lower fairing
Haha! The right lane straight guy drives me NUTS! maybe I’m more conscious of my surroundings because I do ride but I’ll always look in my rear view mirror to see if someone is behind me and if they are, move into the left straight lane
I really don't see how some people think HD's are slow, a big touring bike at over 800lbs, with 75-85rwhp and getting to 60mph in 4.4 seconds is damn respectable! 👍
Try the Indian Challenger…..you will sell your kidney to buy one. The challenger is at least 3 levels up from the RG….that damn bike is beast….not the best looking beast but damn fast and so damn powerful
I luv my rg 114 limited 💓
I like it I'm 5'9. Can you do a program of you installing ape hangers.
I’d love to but I’m not mechanical at all. It would just be a video of me getting frustrated and trailering it to the shop so they can do it. I see the value in just letting a tech that’s done it hundreds, if not thousands of times do it.
Adjustable levers help with adjustment on the hyd clutch.
I always forget about adjustable levers. They aren’t nearly as big in the Harley world as they are with sport bikes. I wish ASV made levers for Harley.
@@thehdguy378 PSR makes a nice one or set. I did just the clutch side and it made a huge difference
Try riding on a windy day for 100 miles and then do the same on an sg and let us know how you feel. I have before and owned plenty of batwing bikes and now own an RGS and wouldn't go back unless it's a deal that I couldn't pass up.Both are great bikes but for the riding I do I prefer the shark nose
I personally haven’t noticed a huge difference between the two. I’ve put a ton of miles on both but I appreciate the feedback! At the end of the day it’s whatever you prefer. The Road Glide is an amazing motorcycle!
One point to consider of the Road glide vs Street glide ..... that the Roadglide is about 24 lbs heavier. Why?? The fairing and mounts add the extra weight.
Great point. I’m sure that’s why. Mounts, bigger fairing overall, bigger headlights, etc.
I test drove a 22 Road Glide Special and a 22 Indian Challenger Dark Horse…..
And there is no comparison. That Indian is at least 3 levels up from a Riad Glide. Power, comfort, ride, speakers, and did I mentioned power?
@@thehdguy378 ….because im not a closed minded person…but im also not an idiot, HD has 2-3 years max then, it sinks. By the way…im free to watch whatever the fuck i want. I hope that answers ur questions.
I’m 5’8 an the road glide works perfect for me I never touch the screen an if I have to it’s not far to reach that’s no excuse for not buying it. Who doesn’t want more room ?
Not opinionated when I tell you the road glide aerodynamics enable the 114 to have faster top speed than the street glide. Test it out every chance you get. Stock v stock , road glide pulls away on the Highway all day.
I’m so glad I won’t have to look back and regret wearing pants like that. Good lord man how is that comfortable.
I have streetglide my buddy has Roadglide as far as riding we have switched off multiple times on long 300 plus mile trips not really much of a difference. Roadglide feels bigger that's about it
I use 91-93 octane...
I am mad about that haha
$30k and still has regular light bulbs for turn signals!
Its a ford chevy thing...
Test a Fatboy please.

I'm going to go get my first road glide next year and have been watching videos . This is one of the better ones lots of info and things you know about but don't think about. Thank you
