For it to come out like a pancake, I need very little oil. If I had a really good pan that food didn't get stuck to, I wouldn't even use as much oil as I did.

That's the Koreanized part of it. I was trying to make a Korean delicacy called jeon, but using akara ingredients. I added mushrooms as well. To be honest, I didn't taste them.

Mine was due to constantly having tonsilitis, and I couldn't stand tonsil stones randomly falling into my mouth.

You're welcome. I had tonsil stones for a few years (I remember as far back as college) and I found it to be such a nuisance and had to find a solution to it. The doctor even told me that in comparison to other cases he'd seen, my tonsils were on the smaller side. I didn't care because I was the one living with discomfort and was glad he agreed to do the procedure. I watched a lot of videos leading to my surgery to prepare myself and was blessed! I hope you get lucky with your recovery time as well. Good luck! 🤗

That sounds awful 😧. I hope you're not still dealing with those horrible pains. I personally don't think I have IBS as I have low white blood cell count which is the opposite (I read). I also now have regular appointments with the GI doctor now and watching my WBC count climb, albeit slowly.
