Here's the rest of my journal entry regarding my recovery from tonsillectomy up until 1 month post-op. I also sprinkled pictures of food I remembered to take here and there.
My recovery didn’t resemble any of the videos I watched online because my pain was minimal to none and I never lost my appetite. I couldn’t stop eating it seemed and I ended up gaining weight during that first month. It was nothing crazy, but it contradicted others who lost weight because they weren’t able to eat as much.

Was one of your reason to remove your tonsils due to bad breath and if so did the did the bad breath go after after having no tonsils.
Mine was due to constantly having tonsilitis, and I couldn't stand tonsil stones randomly falling into my mouth.
@@its__justb Thank you for your reply. I also have the same issue. My surgery is in a few months am hoping it will get rid of the stones for good.
You're welcome. I had tonsil stones for a few years (I remember as far back as college) and I found it to be such a nuisance and had to find a solution to it. The doctor even told me that in comparison to other cases he'd seen, my tonsils were on the smaller side. I didn't care because I was the one living with discomfort and was glad he agreed to do the procedure.
I watched a lot of videos leading to my surgery to prepare myself and was blessed! I hope you get lucky with your recovery time as well. Good luck! 🤗
@@its__justb Thank you 😘
Can’t wait to get mine done makes me self conscious about myself knowing that I have these things in the back of my throat can’t wait to just get surgery
Hello, where did u get your tonsilectomy surgery and how much it cost you?
I answered the first part of your question in your other question on part 1 video. And I mentioned the price as well in the video. I can't remember off the top of my head now.
It is painful are not
Of course, it was painful. But if you watch the video from start to finish, you'll learn more about my recovery experience regarding the pain. You have to keep in mind that it will vary from person to person.
