The first 2 months I did slip up and take tiny pieces of strips but one day I decided to flush the last 15 of them I had down the toilet and within the next month the “daily want” went completely away. Well not completely, there’s still times I want it but man it is RARE. I can’t believe it. Something just clicked. Just do not give up. If you slip up, don’t let that be a reason to give completely back in. Just keep moving forward. Flush any strips you have, do whatever it takes. If you truly want to stop, like I did, you can do it. I did and I was super nervous about it.

My experience- I’ve been on suboxone almost 10 years which followed a year going to methadone clinic. Several years ago I tapered down and quit for 3 months but I knew I was gonna relapse so I went back. I have never broken the rules so my doc kept me as active patient so I could just go right back and pick up where I left off. But then I just did 4 months of sublocade and the nurse told me ppl have had success quitting after their 4th shot. 12-19-22 would have been my 5th shot but I didn’t take it. It’s still at my dr’s office for 1 year if I ever need to go back and he gave me a script for some suboxone in case I need it. Crossing my fingers that I won’t need either one of those backups but it feels good to know they are there if I need it. It’s been 11 years trying to quit something I was only addicted to for 2 years.
I've been trying to taper from suboxone for over 2 years(in recovery for 7)and it's been extremely difficult. I hit a wall at 2mgs and under extreme stress I went back up to 4. I've just read several comments on another video that HIGHLY RECOMMEND sublucade and I just texted my doctor about making my next appt a sublucade shot. I'm soooo over all of this, like the rest of you. I'm done with being shackled to this system. BLESSINGS to ALL! please pray for me that this will work. I'll be praying for all of you as well. 🙏

It's so much more than "having issues", sublocade is the only one that actually eliminates the daily need to take something. Sublocade is the best thing that happened to me and I was the first patient of my doctor to use it. That inspired him to encourage people who struggle on suboxone based on my story (Being very HIPPA conscious) to try sublocade and my story has changed lives, saved lives. As long as I was on suboxone I felt trapped. Sublocade I took for 6 months and it tapered itself over a year. The injection hurts like hell, but it is 1000% worth every bit of it.

The 100mg isn't bad but the 300mg is literally 3x the volume of liquid. I know several people have quit just because of the pain of the injection, but it's worth every bit of it. I could never get off Suboxone and ended up relapsing multiple times while one it, but have not had any issues since the injection started! Revering back to using is easy when you are having to take Suboxone several times a day, mentally it's easy to justify using instead of taking subs, but not with Sublocade!

Yeah relapsed a handful of times in a decade, but not for long & not Drunk that much or developed a Spice habit on it. Trouble with Sub's is I find they give an 'energy boost' which is the core reason why still take them alongside FEAR. Relapse is SO easily done, but gotta get past that of course.😕 and STAY POSITIVE..

Not on Naltrexone/Naloxone either. Suboxone isn't Subutex of course so an 'Inpatient Detox' from Buph' when get lower then would be ideal. Trouble is 'Funding' around here is non-existent + couldn't Work if did it all at home. Also had Seizures coming off Buph' before so gotta be cautious.

Had advice from Doctors/TherapistS/Key Workers ranging from "some stay on it for life" to "Taper SLOWLY" etc. Known people get off it then Relapse & now on SPICE. 😈😨. They Relapse then left in the lurch/up crap Street without a paddle & Begging again. As for urgent help it depends on 'waiting lists', £'s to go 'Private', where live, circumstances.
I think we may have to either travel or wait until enough addiction docs get comfortable with giving it. The closest one to me is 50 miles away and he is new to giving it. He did methadone & suboxone but just started sublocade.
Sublocade is highly controlled because if administered into a blood vessel it can kill you. It gels up after being injected and creates a mass that slowly desolves. Any doctor that does suboxone should be able to do sublocade, the difference being that it has to be delivered directly to the doc and given to you at the office. If you let me know what state you're in I will find a place.

Had friends who didn't, but weren't given it for Pain. In that case God Knows what this stuff 'Masks' eh! Especially if given for CHRONIC Pain what with sticking Needles all over the Body for Years.😳
Suboxone . Helps some with pain, but it will be twice as hard to get away from as opioids. It slows the digestive system to where it's passing undigested food and rots your teeth out. Just a new way to get you hooked on something else. Stay away if you can. Good luck.
Depends on situation/responsibilities have or work, lifestyle etc I've had just 1 'supervised' dig of it (replacing 12mg's) & felt so lethargic couldn't do basic chores. So probs takes time, but ya don't know until try I spose. If do = Good Luck...✌

Your “energy boost” is you getting a high off them. If your still getting an energy boost of Subs, then the shot isn’t for you.

My god I just redid my testosterone its low before wss 497 now its 239 its bad

I have patients with chronic pain that have found this to be helpful.
