I've been watching highlights from last year against teams like the Pelicans, Mavs and Rockets. I'm more worried than ever about our front court defense and rim-protection. I mean it seemed like we got steamrolled physically against these tougher teams. Lord I would love it if Robinson/McDaniels could make a defensive leap and provide at least a little front court resistance.

14:00 Len has been SO solid on a great contract. Really happy with his contributions thus far. He and Lyles are also a pretty intimidating bench frontcourt, tbh. We have a bit of a "soft" rep but those two are dawgs.

Highly disagree. You only say he shouldn’t start because that’s what you’ve seen him do in sac. Monk started half the season in LA and played way better as a starter. The kings are holding their selves back by not starting monk. He’s by far the best 2 guard on the team. You can still very easily stagger minutes. I would bet my bank account monk starts this season. I’m not sure why sac fans think the way they do. Everyone outside of sac already have monk starting,

You can see the chemistry between Monk and Huerter, so that pairng with McLaughlin with Huerter at 3 COULD be really interesting...

As much as I love Keon and what he did/can do, I think Huerter is just such a more dynamic player on offense. Cutting, passing, layups, rebounds. Not just the 3. I think him with the starting unit is an ultra-dynamic, unstoppable offense. We shall see... Or maybe not.🤷

It's still baffling to me that Mike Brown started HB 82 games and had him average 2 more minutes than Monk. HB is a decent size and build but if he plays smaller and less aggressive than his actual size, what was the benefit? And offensive efficiency isn't a good reason because so few plays were called for him and he wasn't all that involved in gemeral. I think the biggest reason why the Kings missed the playoffs was because of Mike Brown's judgment. And the biggest reason why they made the playoffs 2 seasons ago was because Monte Mcnair put together a playoff roster

I think McNair was sneaky smart with this one. DeRozan is going to fit SO well. I wouldn't be surprised to see a 6 in the tens column... I know I'm a homer and too optimistic every year but I'm looking at Fox/DeRozan/Huerter/Murray/Sabonis and that's a pretty scary offense.🤷🏼‍♂️

Oh, man... I can't wait. Huerter and Murray are going to be doing shooting drills they'll be so open. I think DeRozan will fit REALLY well. All those times Barnes would hesitate, kick out, and restart the half-court are going to turn into buckets or assisted 3s now. Fox is going to have the room to shoot more 3s and be able to save some juice for D, too. I'm excited, homie🤘

I noticed this last year, his catch and shoot numbers were great, substantially better than his off the bounce numbers! He could shoot better 3s this year and be extremely efficient/deadly on offense. He got his new toy in the 3 last year, but he didn't realllly know how to use it. This year I'm hoping he will be ready to use it more surgically, try to get more like 5 of those attempts off the catch and maybe only 2 of them from the bounce.
