Starting five: Fox, Monk, Deebo, Murray, Sabonis Bench: C. Jones, Keon, Huerter, Lyles, McDaniels, Len, M. Jones, McLaughlin. Monk should really improve his D if he wants to be a starter. If Devin is the real deal then this team would be a nightmare to play against. Still needs a backup big and wing (Huerter for DFS works in a straight-up trade with 2nd round picks). We’ll probably get those at the trade deadline. If we upgrade to those positions this season, 50 wins is the minimum this team can win and a possible 2nd round exit. I’m still happy if that happens.
Giving the fact that the Kings' defense has not been boosted by having DeRozan in the lineup, it is best to have Ellis out there for the 2. But the DHO is so effective between Huerter and Sabonis that the Kings might still use that lineup once again with no drop off in offense. And hope that DeRozen play better D than Barnes.
Not only did Keon have some issues with foul trouble last season, he had issues keeping his cool with the refs afterwards. I love the guy but that could use some cleaning up.
I watched the end. He had a dumb foul and then a terrible attempt to win the game. He is not ready. If he can improve drastically, he can run the second unit. He is only better at Malik at one thing. Fans just drool at the idea of his steals and POA defense. That’s not enough to win a championship. Monk balled out in the playoffs, not summer league.
He made a mistake at the end of the game that he will hopefully learn from. Of course Monk is much better, but that doesn’t mean that Keon won’t start for his defense.
@@theroyalreport2670 MB will start Keon for his defense, but I’ll be complaining about it all season. Monk should be practicing with the core unit, and playing with Fox and Sabonis as much as possible. Those 3 can take this group to the end of the line.
@@theroyalreport2670 you know how MB starts his seasons: very firm 5-man groups that start to dissolve as the weeks go by … Monk and Sabonis barely ran any 2-man action last year until like January … Monk was practicing with McGee … look at the minutes logged … out starting 5 get so much more time together than any other group

Thanks for the update
Now, the Big " O " is coming. . .

Great job as always

I haven't realy seen that. Not nearly as bad as Fox with the refs.
To guard heavy. Many fandom since Queta ate not too thrilled. Best team D is no fouls.
Malik Monk's disrespect is crazy
No it’s not lol. There is no disrespect.
No disrespect, just lineup balance.

Monk will get plenty of time with the starters
